  • Ask a girl what is important to her and what is the meaning of her life, and if it matches with yours, then you’re on the right track.

  • Speaking well is the most important sales skill you can have. People do business with people they like and trust. Find out what someone really needs and then find ways to fill those needs. Sales is making someone’s life better in some way, not in getting someone to buy.

  • Marketing is getting people interested in your product or service before your sales call. The more effort you put into your marketing, the less effort you need to put into your sales.

  • When you shift your focus, you shift your emotions. Never take rejections and objections personally. It’s all about image and first impression.

  • Stop digging the hole when you don’t know where the conversation is going.

  • Sales is about making friends and relationships. You want to leave the conversation with high energy.

  • You need an attorney on your team.

  • A lot of advice is bad advice if it’s from people who have a vested interest in the market.
