Things are continuing to develop behind the scenes this week even though we haven't had many announcements or updates that are out on the public side of things. Remember to join us in the Whaleshares Discord as more and more details are released about the upcoming projects and changes coming within the BeyondBitcoin and Whaleshares Communities.

REMINDER: The Whaleshares BETA is currently a "closed beta", meaning that only team leaders and support groups from the Whaleshares, Bitshares, and EOS Communities are being given access the beta to test posting and other features as they get added on. None of the earnings showing on posts are real and everything will be reset before the official launch. So don't worry if you have not been approved yet, you're not missing out on any early rewards.

As I have been saying for a while now, 2018 will be a great year for all of us willing to keep our eyes and options open. Thank you to everyone who helped make it another great week, my 47th here on Steemit.

📢Whaleshares/BitsharesTalk.io

The Whaleshares BETA is up and running smoothly this week. Accounts access is currently limited to team leaders and support groups from the Whaleshares, Bitshares, and EOS Communities. Early access into the beta is to help test site functionality and features as they get added on.

The BitsharesTalk Forum BETA which works on the new Whaleshares chain was also launched this week. The forums give the Bitshares Community a place to post information on worker proposals, DEX updates, and bitshares compatible projects and tokens.

Please note: Both platforms are still in early "CLOSED BETA" testing and certain features/functionalities will be missing or turned on/off at various times for testing and upgrades.

You are welcome to start the sign-up process to reserve your username and be ready for the official launch.

📢Smoke Network

Jonathan 'TheAnxiousStoner', the co-founder of Smoke.Network (@smokenetwork), officially announced their partnership with EasyDEX (@easydex), a new Bitshares-based decentralized exchange platform, this morning in an article released on Medium. For those of us following along with the development of the Smoke Network and Whaleshares platforms (which also recently announced a partnership with EasyDEX) this was something suspected to be in the works, so it is great to see an agreement has been made.

When Smoke Network moves to maninet and launches later this Summer, I will be heavily vested in the platform and will offer a cross-chain token called "CANNABIT" to reward Community-Based Incentives and Verified Original Content backed by my stake. I will coordinate community contests and challenges to spur cooperation and support for the growth and promotion of Smoke Network.

📢 VICE Network

VICE appears to be on schedule pushing towards it's release date on June 28. The weekly updates continue at a steady pace and this week was no different. You may have noticed VICE has a new logo, the design was created by the CEO, Stuart Duncan himself and followed a teaser announcement hinting that a redesigned website will be going up later this week.

The VICE team has also started a weekly live webshow on YouTube scheduled for every Friday at 1PM EST and a series of Expos in Miami have been announced for the end of May where VICE Industry Token will be an official sponsor.

REMINDER: You have to keep your crowdfund tokens in your same ETH wallet in order to receive the 50% bonus. So if you move out tokens to sell in the pre-markets you will lose that bonus.

After a slight bump in the road and hard fork of the chain due to a dispute with the original dev, the DPorn project is now back on track and moving along with its development schedule according to the latest discussions in Discord and posts on the official @DPorn blog.
