The Jackson Bridge located at: Jackson St NE, Atlanta, GA 30312, is one of the most visited places by tourist the visit Atlanta. Although it has an impressive look at the city and a beautiful construction, many people visit the site, not because of it’s magnificent view, but because it is the “Rick Grimes Bridge”. There is a scene at the minute 58:16 of the very first season of the Walking Dead, episode 1 “Days Gone Bye” where Rick Grimes passes under the Jackson Bridge. It is the first time that the viewers get a clear picture of the destruction of the city of Atlanta. The image is so impressive that it even made the cover of the Blue Ray/DVD. If you are a fan of the Walking Dead and are visiting Atlanta, the visit is a must. Not only will it be great if you are a fan, but as I mention before, it has an impressive view of the city, but be very careful, there is a lot of traffic up and down the bridge, you might find a lot of pedestrians walking and the bridge has a low rail and there’s no fence, so be safe, I’m sure you don’t want to fall down the bridge, remember you won’t come back as a zombie. Safe trip and enjoy yourself. As always thank you for reading and remember to give some feedback as to what you think about this type of photography or the bridge.

How did you get your picture with no traffic? @originalworks

I took more than 60 pictures to get a good one. In some the wind was to strong, in others it didn’t aligned correctly and in others cars where passing by. I was lucky on that one. I was 11am, it was perfect because there was very little traffic, thanks for asking. @originalwork
