THE LAWS OF HEALTH

in #wafrica6 years ago

Health is wealth, it is better to be poor, strong and healthy than to be rich having poor health. A sound and healthy body and a cheerful attitude are more valuable than gold and jewels.

Nothing can make you richer or give you greater happiness than those two things. It would be better to be dead, asleep forever, than to live in the misery of chronic illness.

The finest food means nothing if you are too ill to eat it. For a man to be strong and cheerful always, he has to practice, follow and obey these laws of health.

  1. PROPER DIET
From creation man was created to eat fruits and vegetables, nut and grains. The early men lived on vegetables alone without eating meat or flesh of dead animals. Eat fruits like plantain, banana, pawpaw, oranges, cucumber, guava, apple, pineapple, carrots etc. Eat carbohydrates with enough vegetables. Take enough clean fishes, fresh or dried. Take white meat and avoid too much red meat if possible.

  2. EXERCISE
Labour and exercise is beneficial to every part of the body. Walking few bus stops daily will give life and strength to your body system. Make sure that you do some work or walk for sweat to come out of your body everyday.

Going out doors for exercise every morning before taking your bath will help the liver, kidney and lungs to function effectively. Over weight persons should not play with morning exercise to become balanced and avoid killer diseases like obesity, cardiovascular disease etc.

  1. RESTING
The body needs rest, rest your muscles, brain, six sense organs and your entire body. Make sure that in your rest you add enough sleep. Rest your stomach for about five (5) hours before the next meal. Always go to sleep early and rest your entire body and stay for hours before bedtime.

  2. POSITIVE THINKING
Positive thoughts affects your blood cells and relaxes your mind and heart beats which influences your behaviour. A constructive mental attitude is always good for your health. Avoid the over ambitious anxiety of life. A merry heart is a healing to the bone says King Solomon.
