Upvoting tags?

in #upvoteforupvote8 years ago (edited)

I normaly wouldn't do such a thing, but my curiousity seem to have gotten a good grib on my balls right now, so I'm gonna make a post with the singular purpose, of testing out tags people claim will get a lot of upvotes.

Now, I'm not gonna say, that I think using these tags for upvotes are bad, why would they be?

  • Sure, it can lead to a drop in quality, on the "trending page", but then again. Millions upon millions of people, enjoy going to a Bieber concert. And who am I to judge, what others find interesting, and good.
  • I wouldn't give a vote to anything but what I myself deem as good quality, or at least, deserve an ekstra income. And I've only used the flag a single time, when I was confident enough, that author had just copy/pasted someone elses work, while taking credit for it.

I do enjoy watching those few cent's I've gotten, flow into my account. Who wouldn't? We all need to survive somehow, and a bit of extra cash goes a long way to that objective. But I'm here for my own self-improvement, and because I enjoy writing and reading.

Anyway. As this post was explicitely made to satisfy my curiousity with testing those tags, I'll end it here.

Hope you're having a wonderful day. ^_^
Sincerely, Michael.

I completely agree. I think you should only vote for content you actually like.

Right?

  • Otherwise, I just feel like, I help turn it into facebook or something similar. And I really hate that thought. >.<

Yes. The whole point is that you curate quality rather than just popularity.

Hi! This post has a Flesch-Kincaid grade level of 6.3 and reading ease of 78%. This puts the writing level on par with Stephen King and Dan Brown.

That's because, I am both Dan Brown, and Stephen King, in disguise.

  • But sssh, it's a coverup, so no one can know!
