I finally bothered to watch the Tyteek Hill altercation with the police.

Guys, this wasn't a case of police just not liking a black dude. This was a case of Hill being a dick. This was a case of Hill thinking that he should get away with behavior that none of us would get away with.

We know not to shut our car windows during a trafficking stop. We all know the license and registration drill. Hill gives the police the Homer Simpson, "Just give me a ticket." line. That was without handing the officers any documentation. How were they to know who they're writing the ticket to?

The windows on my car aren't as tinted as the windows on Hill's. Still, of course I know that having my windows up during a traffic stop would prevent the officer from seeing what I'm doing. Officers never know if they're gonna walk up to the window and see a gun.
