in #travel7 years ago

Hello dear followers,

Two weeks ago I went to Portugal for a vacation.
This was my first time Portugal and I very looking forward to it.
I first went to the Algarve, in the south of Portugal.
I have been to different places there.

This picture has been taken in Lagos, there you have beautiful rocks! As you can see
You can easily rent a car to move yourself. I rented an appartement in Portimao and from there there were several coastal areas within short driving distance.

This is at the beach in Praia da Rocha, in Sept/ October is the weather still great and the beaches are a lot quieter than in the high season.

These pictures are made in Sagres, it's also beautifull!
Here you have a lot of surfers because the sea is rough.

This picture is made in Lisbon, this is the capital of Portugal.
From Sagres to Lisbon it is about 3.5 hours drive.
Lisbon is hilly and has many small streets, a car in lisbon is not necessary because public transport is very well arranged.

I really love the street art!! I hope you like it to.

These are made at the lx factory, it is an industrial area, where many creative people come down and have many nice bars and restaurants.
And of course the beautifull street art.

Lisbon is on the river Tagus.
If you cross that river by the Ferry you can go to different beaches.

I hope you enjoyed my post, in the future I will make even more of this kind of blogs.
Just leave in the comments what you thought about it :)

With Love,

Good post @lizzykazoe I visited the Algarve in 1987 and unfortunately haven't been back since. Your post has made me think of a trip there. Things I noted about that time. The currency, Escudos, was very small value. The road from Faro was called the most dangerous road in Europe. We stayed in Portimao. It was only a few years after the revolution and many places round Praia da Rocha were dirt roads. Albufeira was a small town.

That's really a long time ago. You have to go back soon 😊

You're right.

Lovely photos!

Hello, first of all thank you for your beautiful photos and your writing. If you were to share photos about traditional foods, I think it would be better.

The traditional food is a good idea for the next time, thank you for your comment
