Dan tepat jam 10.00 WIB saya bersama 3 teman saya menuju ketempat wisata tersebut melewatai Kota Lhoksemawe. Jarak Tempuh dari tempat tinggal saya ke wisata air terjun tersebut sekitar 1.5 jam. Dan untuk anda ketahui bila dari luar daerah ingin mengunjungi wisata air terjun di Aceh Utara, patokan untuk menuju kesana bisa anda jadikan Kota Lhokseumawe sebagai Acuan dalam menentukan lamanya perjalanan kewisata air tersebut. Dari Kota Lhokseumawe, jaraknya hanya 30 KM dengan menghabiskan waktu sekitar 1 jam. Perjalanan tersebut akan terbayar dengan pesona keindahan dan keasrian air terjun ini.

Dan sejujurnya saya pun baru pertama kali mengunjungi destinasi wisata ini, namun saya mengetahui lokasi dari destinasi wisata ini dari beberapa sahabat saya yang lainnya. Untuk lebih jelas saya paparkan destinasi wisata ini terletak di Desa Panton Rayeuk Sa, Kecamatan Kuta Makmur, Kabupaten Aceh Utara. Dan wisata air terjun rayap ini satu lokasi dengan air terjun blang kolam yang sudah jadi primadona bagi provinsi Aceh.

Air terjun Rayap ini masih satu aliran sungai dengan air terjun Blang Kolam yaitu sungai Rayap. Alamnya masih asri dan banyak pepohonan rindang dipinggiran sungai yang membuat panorama pemandangan disana menenangkan hati. Air terjun ini tingginya kira-kira 2,5 meter dan terdapat kolam kecil dibawahnya. Begitulah kira-kira yang dapat saya deskripsikan tentang air terjun ini.
