Austin, Texas: "What Keeps it Weird?" Local Business, Crux Climbing Center

in #travel7 years ago

First off, I just wanna say Crux Climbing Center is an overall 10/10 for me.

Not only am I feeling myself get stronger, i'm having SO much fun doing it!

For $60 a month I get daily access to bouldering, belaying, yoga classes, crossfit classes, AND a workout center with all the equipment I could need for strength training.

(I know, a STEAL)

But right now i'm gonna focus on their amazing yoga classes!

They offer a wide variety for varying skill levels, that all whip me into shape!

As soon as you walk in to the space you are greeted by a warm and calming painting by an Austin local artist:

Throughout the class she is there, with a constant reminder to breathe (a key element to the Yoga practice).

No matter how much my tush might burn, that painting is a constant that holds me upright; the infinite battle against gravity!

On top of that, there is an amazing staff of yogis there guiding you and uplifting your spirits through whatever flow they are leading us through that day.

They truly want you to grow and want to do whatever they can to help you get there!

All of them diffuse some sort of essential oil during their classes, and one of them even brought these wonderful affirmation cards to give us a drop of love before we started our "restorative yoga" class.

(This is the one I pulled <3)

What a good reminder THAT was! To live a life of wonder…how divine!

This studio truly provides what anyone could look for in a yoga class.

The atmosphere, the people, and the practice are all spiritually and physically beautiful and fulfilling!!
