Southeast Asia Trip, Episode 2: Bangkok

in #travel7 years ago

So to recap on the last post, the girlfriend and I decided to take a month long trip to Thailand, Laos and Cambodia, and finally after more than a year of planning, are epic adventure was coming to life. On November 1st, we hugged and kissed our families goodbye to set off on our month long adventure. First stop, was Bangkok, Thailand. We only spent 3nights which maybe one more day wouldn't have hurt but we knew we were coming back for a night at the end so we were glad at our decision. We ended visiting Chatuchak Market, the Grand Palace as well as a walk through Chinatown and exploring the city. It was a great way to start our trip off, and were even more excited for our next stop in southern Thailand, the city of Phuket!

Safe travels and enjoy SEA 😊

The soaps were interesting so many shapes and sizes lol plus they sold them everywhere in thailand lol

Are you guys planning to go to Indonesia? They have tons of those there too, wooden tho 😂😂😂😂

Indonesia and Malaysia are on my list of places to visit lol

Looks like you had a lot of fun on your adventures in Bangkok! We really enjoyed all the street food, the buzz at night, and foot massages! It's a great hub to pass through when travelling around Asia ;-)

The foot massages were definitely a highlight lol and it's a great city to start your travels since you can go to any other location by bus from there.

What an interesting trip, and nicely photographed! Are you from Scotland? That's where I'm from, but I'm an ex-pat living in Florida! And welcome to Steemit! :-)

Im actually from Canada but strong Scottish heritage, Scotland is the next trip I want to do
