Behind the Curtains
Dear Diary,
You know what? I was so excited to finish my travelogue today about Gilgit and Hunza... but now, not so much. Today, I deeply realized that just as much as you get physically exhausted, you do mentally too... Even more so! People's attitudes...
Alright, my dear diary, let me give you some context. I have been made the entertainment in-charge at the ladies' club... Don't you dare laugh at me! Zip it up. Seriously man! It was more like a eeny meeny mina mo kind of thing.
Well, this is my first event as an organizer. And I keep thinking: What’s the big deal if a chair is a little to the left or the right? But no! People act like it’s a life-or-death situation! Subjectivity – that’s the real culprit here.
You silly diary, let me explain it to you through an example: I might not like the colour red, while for someone else, it’s their favourite. True??? Neither of us is wrong, and neither of us is right! Right???And the funny thing is, I don’t even care about these things. But people fight over them to the point of going crazy... Where do they get so much energy?I mean it’s one thing to voice your opinion, but it’s another to make it a matter of ego. You should have seen them buddy!
So, I’m stuck in the middle of two ladies... no, wait—one lady and a whole lot of others. I mean, she has to clash with everyone’s opinion! The décor team and entertainment team (remember, which I am heading) have to work side by side. After all, if you’re putting on a show, you need some sort of setup. But here’s the twist—the person assisting me in entertainment is at war with the décor lady... L.O.L
We want the chairs against the backdrop, but nope, the other side doesn’t agree...
Well, technically, they agree with me but not with my assistant... and now they’re fighting like little girls! Yes, it’s funny and super embarrassing at the same time. But seriously, where do they get all this energy from? Someone explain this to me, please! Because you ain't speaking anything...
Ok! My dear diary, I know you can’t talk, you just silently listen to all my rants… Lucky you! So, what should have been done in two hours took a grand total of four! First, I had to bang my head against one, then charm the other into submission... And I am not liking this at all.
For now, both are on board—for now—but I’m already having nightmares about the next event!
But hey, there is a silver lining in the clouds too. Is it the correct idiom? As a matter of fact, I’m also learning a lot of new things. New friendships, new experiences, working completely against my nature, and, of course, expanding my horizons… along with a little migraine after every event! You know what I have even choreographed a fancy dress show, did the music mixing for it too! Honestly, they have got me doing all sorts of things… But you learn a lot about your own talents wannabe talents this way, right? Does this sentence make any sense? What are wannabe talents? Anyways, no worries. Just need to stay positive, get it all done, and most importantly, have fun while doing it!
I’m so sleepy now! Tomorrow’s a new day. I hope I have the energy to handle all their tantrums. But for now, I’m trying to sleep and forget about all this. Please make the stars of theatrics align for me so that the event goes smoothly. Are there any stars or planets responsible for the smooth conduction of these dramatic events? I was reading something about the "Parade of Planets 2024"—something about a rare cosmic alignment—the other day. What am I even thinking? I need to sleep now, or my mind will play funny games.

Everything in life should be treated like a game. Life itself is a game. You just need to know the rules and play))
Humans have the ability to adopt qualities that are hidden within them. But it depends on their personal preference and what they like. And when you have a task that involves convincing people with different mindsets, then it becomes extremely difficult.
Obviously, someone or the other will express disagreement. But in such cases, focus is given to the side where positive people are, so that the chances of getting good results increase.
However, after a long journey, this task will be like a challenge for you at every step.
To be honest ,"I have read a unique diary for the first time in my Steemit journey. Believe me, my brain is not used to understanding such depth of words. But I have tried to grasp whatever I could understand.

Tricky! You know, neither one is entirely positive nor entirely negative. It’s a mix. There are no clear villains or heroes in real life. Have you ever watched Turkish series? I love them for their portrayal of true human nature—a blend of heroism and villainy. Humans are indeed the most peculiar beings, multifaceted, embodying a spectrum of traits that defy simple categorization.
But yes, you’re right—my favours should tip towards more positivity. But the thing is, I can be negative and problematic at times; who knows? I’m certainly not in a position to label anyone. I strive to understand people, yet they continually surprise me. We are truly mysterious beings, ever-changing and complex in ways that defy easy explanations...
And yes, I can't sleep. Lol

In reality, it is human nature to keep changing. With time and according to circumstances. And I can confidently say that it's not necessary that what you think today will remain the same after some time. Because our thoughts will adapt according to the situations and circumstances of that time.

Human nature is so complicated; understanding even one percent of it might require a lifetime and perhaps even rebirth!!! Envy, in particular, is a strange emotion. It’s intriguing how people can find envy even in places where there seems to be nothing to covet... Strange

Imagine two sets of guys approach you as a disc jockey and tell you the song you need at the moment to dance; you try explaining to them that all these songs are on your list and you will play it for them, all of them with their genres different and wanting theirs to be played first.
I would think the ozone layer depletion is causing this heat on their brains, people are just full of garbage
In this case, they made you go against your standard of decoration, and nature of work but it is fine since it is only one person

Well the correct phrase is: every cloud has a silver lining
meaning: every unpleasant situation has a positive side to it :)))
Means a children's counting-out rhyme, used to select a person in games such as tag, or for selecting various other things.
