A Hands-on Introduction to Engineering SimulationssteemCreated with Sketch.

hello guys i am back with another cool stuff for engineering students.....specially for mechanical engineering students.....so there is a software name called ansys and it is used for FEA (finite element analysis) to simulate and test the product under working condition so that engineer could know how and when the product is going to fail in which condition and from where .....so according to that the engineers remove or add material from that space so to make the product reliable and cost effective .....these cool stuff are done by design engineers and today i am going to make you an designer with this free course provided by ansys community with collaboration of #CornellUniversity #newyork and the tutor isRajesh Bhaskaran (Swanson Director of Engineering Simulation) yeah he is a nice teacher so here is the link to the courseA Hands-on Introduction to Engineering Simulations you should give a try to it.....this course is free if you just want knowledge and no certificate (hey knowledge is every thing who cares about certificate ) and if you want certificate too then they charge you a little amount which is far far cheap than those guys who are teaching this same course in there institutesansys.jpg

they have posted it on twitter and they do couple of cool stuff like webinar and all i have never attended any of there webinar but soon i will be so they do lots of cool stuff and if you wanna know more about them then just go and follow them on twitter and all of those social media platform these big guys do a lot of free courses and webinar for there future customers yeah we can say that it would be a marketing techniques but who cares free col stuff is always welcome

About this course

In this hands-on course, you’ll learn how to perform engineering simulations using a powerful tool from ANSYS, Inc. This is a problem-based course where you’ll learn by doing. The focus will be on understanding what’s under the blackbox so as to move beyond garbage-in, garbage-out. You’ll practice using a common solution approach to problems involving different physics: structural mechanics, fluid dynamics and heat transfer.

We’ll solve textbook examples to understand the fundamental principles of finite-element analysis and computational fluid dynamics. Then we’ll apply these principles to simulate real-world examples in the tool including a bolted rocket assembly and a wind turbine rotor. We’ll discuss current industry practices with a SpaceX engineer. By working through examples in a leading simulation tool that professionals use, you’ll learn to move beyond button pushing and start thinking like an expert.

This course teaches fundamental concepts and tool use in an integrated fashion using the power of online learning. All learners will have access to a free download of ANSYS Student.

Join us to discover why simulations have changed how engineering is done and how you can be a part of this revolution.

What you'll learn
