HOW MUCH ENERGY, HOW MUCH WORK!

Work and energy for the development of what is necessary.

In situations of daily life you use the word "energy" and "work". Surely, you hear expressions like: save energy, do not waste it! It takes a lot of energy for that job! A person can do work thanks to the energy provided by food. A car can climb a hill for the fuel that we put it.

What is energy? What is work? Energy is neither substance nor matter, in reality it is a concept, an abstraction and the language of science instead of saying what it is, are we interested in knowing about energy? and the intimate relationship he has with work.

Energy can be manifested in many ways, that is why we give it different names: solar energy, hydraulic energy, wind energy, electrical energy, chemical energy (fuel and food), nuclear energy ... All these names can be described in two ways of energy: kinetics and potential.

E. Solar: It is captured by photovoltaic panels.
E. Hydraulics: It is captured by the fall of water.
E. Wind: It is captured by the force of the wind.
E. Electric: It is captured by the movement of electric charges
E. Nuclear: It is captured by the fusion or fission of nuclei in an atomic reactor.

The energy is constantly transformed, for example, the potential energy of water stored in a tank, is transformed into kinetic energy when it falls from a certain height and when it hits a paddle rotates some turbines, where it is transformed into electrical energy, which is distributed to different consumption centers.
The energy is transferred, for example, by contacting a hot body with another cold body. The first one cools and the second one gets hot.

With this post I hope you continue to develop understanding for energy and work in relation to various situations in the environment ...

The power of people is limited, we can train ourselves to make faster and faster a walk, do certain domestic or commercial jobs, improving our "brands", that is, the effective power that we develop. But we are always going to need a lot of our energy, and at present, we can not meet the needs of society.
