The Negro is still not free the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the mancles of segregation and the chains of discrimiantion... The Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast acean of manterial prosperity... The Negro is stell langushing in the cocrners of American society and find himself an exiled is his own land. so we have come here today to dramatize a shamful condition.....

I say to you taday my friend so even thought we face the difficoult of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American condition....
