(Contest! 50% prize pool) What catches the eye of a whale / What adds value to this community

Contest:

I was thinking that, I'm sure that many of us want to write good content, to add value, and to contribute to this community, and would love some tips and ideas from the people here who really know how it is done.
I'm also sure that many of us hope to write content which gets upvoted by a couple of whales, and gets reblogged to their vast base of followers.

I thought that it would be an interesting dicussion to have you guys comment on and discuss this. It may be quite helpful to many of us to get each others opinions, and get advice from each other, and I've turned it into a contest.

Prizes:

• The best comment to this post, which fits into one of the defined categories will receive 30% of the value of the first payout of this post + 30% of the final payout in ~4 weeks time.
• The second best comment will receive 20% of the total value of the first payout of this post + 20% of the final payout in ~4 weeks time.

The categories are:

• What constitutes content which adds value to this community
• Tips on how to create good content, or how to add value to the community in any other ways
• What kind of content is more likely to catch the eye of whales and get reblogged
