Every time I try to wrap my head around how much SMT’s going mainstream might affect the demand for Steem, I feel just a little happier. I have no way to quantify it, but my gut says massive demand.
Will SMTs do for STEEM what ERC20 did for ETH?
I do not find it unreasonable to believe that could happen.
Besides, creating a token with SMT gives one more than is given when using ETH...secure tokens, curation reward system, fee less transactions, no scaling issues, lightening quick blockchain, and a decentralized exchange with STEEM paired to your token.
I don't know about SMTs they seem like a scam. Why not just plug into Steem? Why create your own token? What's the point?
