The Passage of Rite

It has been our 6th installment of our bi-weekly gig in Liberal Latte. So many friends we have made and so many friends have joined us in sharing their passion for music and their experience. Last week, we took a slightly different twist, we introduce the guy from #steem-cartoon, none other than @sireh.

We are 6 gigs old!

Kicking of With Something Sweet

It started with an unexpected gig from Honey Badger...that is his moniker. An amazing guy with an amazing vocal range. I like him because he is so different. Reminds me of Maurice Gibb from Bee Gees or Adam Levine from Maroon 5. Hear it for yourself.

He performed 3 songs for us before @sireh took the stage and the hearts of the ladies when he drew them...

Then a guy came along and he interrupted @sireh's concentration and he DEMANDS to be drawn. So, @sireh begrudgingly ask a few questions:

Do you mind being drawn as an evil and sinister dude?
Do you mind being drawn as Osama bin Laden?
Do you mind if I exaggerate everything?

He said YES to all. So @sireh did what is reasonably expected from him, he waved his magic pen

That man was so happy with his caricature, so much so he was talking about it the whole night. I could almost believe that he would have paid @sireh with millions if he is really Osama bin Laden. Well, Osama isn't really poor you know.

Sireh Took a Break

This man was engaging and he was charming. He did well to wow the crowd with his marker and his narration of how he draws. He told us these facts:

• He takes a very long time to draw a pretty girl
• He can draw guys in a matter of just a few minutes so that he can move on to the next lovely girl
• His style is to focus on the eyes because if a pair of eyes is correctly drawn, it is half the artwork completed. But again that is his style. If @perennial draws stick man, its okay because there is no eyes to focus on. So everything is Picasso standard.

The @sireh gotta take a break. There were some requests from the crowd to speak on steemit, so I did a short presentation on the role of witnesses and how the steem blockchain operates. I also spoke about how the reward pool works to benefit its bloggers.
