SteamFest 2018 Tasmania Australia. Part 2

in #steamfest7 years ago

The next part of the SteamFest 2018 Tasmania Australia. I hope you enjoyed the first part and continue to enjoy this next installment of our past history.

SteamFest located in Sheffield Tasmania brings history to life with one of the biggest collections of working steam machinery in Australia, steam train rides, pioneering skills such as blacksmithing, historic machinery like traction engines, steam powered threshers and rock crushers showing how things were done in the past, including vintage cars, tractor pulling competition, old wares for sale etc.
I will endeavour to bring SteamFest to you through photography. I hope you will enjoy following me along for the day at SteamFest. This will be a multi post edition. Thank you for looking.

Love these pictures, altough my all time favorites are the ones of the Deloraine Street Car Show Tasmania :) The really small train is really a cutie and in the 2nd picture that small "house" is quite cute.

Thanks and there will be more from the Deloraine Street Car Show Tasmania.

Awesome, i love the picture quality.... Would really want to jump on those horses but fortunately i don't know how to

Thank you and those little pony's are cute.

I love the pics. They are very nice and awesome. I love the first machinery. It must be a a roller used for road construction. Thanks for the great work compiled @j85063.

Yep. Been to many of these. As an Ulverstone born and bred boy I used to love seeing these old machines chugging away. Do they still run Bullock teams and displays too?

Yes i think they did a Bullock team display after i had to leave. Do you still live in Tas?

No left 20 years ago. Family still lives there though and we visit often.

Ok that's great you come back for family often.
