Confessions Of A Cynical Romantic | Fairytale | Part One

in #relationships7 years ago (edited)

I was never much of a believer in monogamy or marriage. Little did I know that on a cold November night, year 2015 that will all change.
When I first saw him everything went in slow motion like you see in the movies and i felt like my world had stopped. Well it did in a way. He told his friends right then and there ‘Back off, She’s mine’ and he told me we will have a daughter together. I said that he’s crazy. Soon I found i had turned into one of those annoying girl friends who I used to despise, meaning my world revolving only around this man, nothing and no one else mattered, time had completely stopped, as silly as it is I was in loss of track of days and I felt like flying. It was butterflies and magic, like meaning to be, intense passion and emotions and the bedroom too, for the record, back ago if you ever told me you cry during intercourse out of such intense love for someone I would have thought you’re wimp. I won’t lie to you, before ever meeting him I felt that someone special was going to enter my life. Always count on your inner feelings too. I was completely in love & lust and so was he.
Did I mention I saw hearts everywhere? Wicked. Literally everywhere, in my teacup, looking up the sky, on the ground as a raindrop, even on the side of his back looking at his birthmarks. It was all so surreal. I loved how he made me feel and we used our dating time to the maximum. We partied hard together, laughed hard, f* hard. Everything was powerful with this guy. As we were swimming in a hotel rooftop pool of Thailand, Pukhet we both then and there said we should do it. The thing I never thought of, wanted or craved like other little girls or big girls now I wished for. This crazy guy who said I’m his on our first meeting, this guy who told me he loves me on our few weeks of seeing each other and this guy who expressed how he wants a babygirl from me now wanted to marry me.
So properly this crazy guy asked my parents for my hand while secretly there was a little suprise for all of us - I was carrying a little ‘bean’ as I called it under my heart. As we celebrated away with bottles of the finest champagne my little ‘bean’ was only maybe a month topmost in me and already giving me signs that she’s in there and for me to behave. So there it was, I was carrying his child under my heart on our special wedding day. Now it wasn’t just the two of us anymore. And all what he said to me come true.
My point of this story is girls, when you will meet the one you will definitely feel it. When the guy seems perfect but you just don’t feel the magic in the air, don’t push it.
