We Need to Get RON PAUL to Join Steemit! A Real Representative of PERSONAL LIBERTY!

Steemit, let's be honest. We're going viral. I think it's time to reach out to RON PAUL, a real libertarian icon, to join Steemit!

He has only good things to say about Bitcoin (or at the very least, he's very interested in it's potential). He understands that it serves as a great counterbalance to government's monopoly over money and credit! He does have his reservations, but if he gets on Steemit, he can really learn about its benefits!

In regards to Steemit, think about it like this. Steemit is a free market for content. You voluntarily support the content you like. No one is here to regulate the content you upvote, or the content put up here. Ron will certainly be able to support this platform.

Ron is also a huge proponent of Libertarian values. Things like free speech, privacy, movement.. these are all things he supports, and there is a massive overlap between libertarian values and crypto community members.

Another plus for Ron if he joins, he can even use the funds he generates here in order to fund the Ron Paul Institute and other Libertarian centric intitiatives.

SO LET'S GET TO TWEETING AT RON PAUL! twitter.com/RonPaul

Sort:

I was thinking the same thing. If he just introduced himself, he could set the record for most money per individual post.

That'd get a lot of people's attention. We also need Tom Woods, Peter Schiff, Justin Amash, Thomas Massie, Robert Murphy. Does anyone know these people?

I am pretty sure if you contact his office, he´ll be Game for steemit quickly.

Just do It :)

I contacted the Ron Paul Institute and told them they need to get the board of directors to join.

I will draft the email. Stay tuned for the follow up!

There are a lot of other people with large fanbases to reach out to as well. Ron Paul is a pretty huge name, but there are lots of people that might be easier to talk to that can bring people here.

Grab the minarchist libertarians, the disaffected Bernie-supporting liberals, the gamer geeks with the free speech crusade, etc. Basically, everyone that's being shut down by the established social media giants like FB and Twitter.

Several YouTubers come to mind, with no prejudice about their content: Adam Kokesh, Abby Martin, Stefan Molyneux, Alex Jones, Young Turks, Milo Yiannopolis and the other Breitbarters, Sargon of Akkad, and on and on.

I have just sent this email to the Ron Paul institute:

Greetings,

I'm reaching out today because I found an opportunity for Congressman Paul in regards to public outreach and fundraising.

There is a new website called Steemit.com where individuals can generate real money based on the content they upload. It runs on a blockchain similar to BitCoin.

The reason I think that Congressman Paul would be interested in this site is because there is a massive Libertarian community already formed on the site. Many readers on Steemit.com are proponents of personal liberty and sound money, two things Congressman Paul champions.

I hope that you can get back to me. Congressman Paul would be very well received on the site. Please feel free to contact me if you'd like more information.

Thank you,

[My name]

I'll be looking out for a response.

Ron Paul was never a Senator, he was a congressman. His son, Rand, is a Senator.

I sent two emails, one directed toward Ron and one for Rand (figured it wouldn't be a bad option). I just copied the wrong one. Edited.

I have to agree, this would be quite a feat!
