an american living in the netherlands made a documentary called 'delay, deny, hope you die'. rt television is playing it, and i doubt, very much, that any other network in our country will even mention it. you should watch it. it is americans, talking to americans about something america did. it was made by an american (who lives in the netherlands now) and is about open air burn pits used during the iraq war. it is the kind of thing that cnn, and both democrats and republicans, would accuse rt of presenting because they have an anti-american agenda. this is an absolutely silly premise, and what is anti-american is to ignore a documentary as important as this, which every major network is doing (and no, this is not the 60 minutes story).
multiple shows on rt are independently produced (just like a lot of television), and some of the producers of rt's current line-up even offered their programming to other networks, like bbc, before going to rt. larry king is not a foreign agent. the rich folks in russia don't care about us any more than the rich folks in america do - but they certainly care about one another. the podestas and manafort worked together on multiple illegal deals in russia and ukraine. illegal by russian law, and illegal by american law. that was before they sold their services (and brought funding) to their respective overlords. they are all playing the same game, all over the world. there are the rich, and the rest of us. both parties have obviously and openly carried on business with russian oligarchs, and oligarchs of all countries, for ages, and have done so with financial benefit being apparently their sole concern. the people of russia are fortunate to have at least a factually honest media broadcast for their international presence (nothing different than air america, bbc, etc, with the exception of rt being measurably more reliable for actual journalism as opposed to fanatical grandstanding by two parties that share common financial interests) and quite fortunate to have putin, who like kennedy was here, is at least a mega-rich overlord with compassion for his people. and that is immeasurably better than a mega-rich leader who holds most of his country in contempt (i.e. trump). and more to the point, begging for censorship is pathetic. twitter approached rt and asked them to buy advertising. twitter approached rt and asked them to buy advertising. twitter approached rt and asked them to buy advertising. twitter approached rt and asked them to buy advertising. twitter approached rt and asked them to buy advertising. only after looking bad for doing this did the twitter executive call it a mistake. it wasn't a mistake, it was regular business, and will happen for the rest of human existence. so probably about 30 more years. it is shallow, dangerous, and potentially world ending to be a bigot towards russia.
