Lublin is a ninth largest city in Poland. This year it has a big anniversary - It has been 700 years since Lublin was received town rights. During the last 700 years Lublin played a significant role in polish history: It was a big centre of culture and trade in eastern Poland and one of the biggest cities in our country. By some of tourists Lublin is called "little Cracow". This weekend I visited Lublin and took few photos of the Lublin's Old Town.	Lublin jest dziewiątym co do wielkości miastem w Polsce. W tym roku obchodzi dużą rocznicę - mija 700 lat odkąd Lublin otrzymał prawa miejskie. Na przestrzeni 700 lat Lublin odgrywał znaczącą rolę w polskiej historii: był dużym centrum kultury i handlu we wschodniej Polsce oraz jednym z największych miast w naszym kraju. Przez część turystów nazywany jest "małym Krakowem". W ten weekend odwiedziłem Lublin i zrobiłem kilka zdjęć starego miasta w Lublinie.

Lublin is a ninth largest city in Poland. This year it has a big anniversary - It has been 700 years since Lublin was received town rights.

During the last 700 years Lublin played a significant role in polish history: It was a big centre of culture and trade in eastern Poland and one of the biggest cities in our country.

By some of tourists Lublin is called "little Cracow".

This weekend I visited Lublin and took few photos of the Lublin's Old Town.

Lublin jest dziewiątym co do wielkości miastem w Polsce. W tym roku obchodzi dużą rocznicę - mija 700 lat odkąd Lublin otrzymał prawa miejskie.

Na przestrzeni 700 lat Lublin odgrywał znaczącą rolę w polskiej historii: był dużym centrum kultury i handlu we wschodniej Polsce oraz jednym z największych miast w naszym kraju.

Przez część turystów nazywany jest "małym Krakowem".

W ten weekend odwiedziłem Lublin i zrobiłem kilka zdjęć starego miasta w Lublinie.

The Cracow's Gate - a XIV century gate that was guarding the access to the Old Town	Brama Krakowska - XIV wieczna brama która strzegła dostepu do starego miasta
After passing Cracow's Gate we can see a beautiful Old Town of Lublin - these baloons (in my opinion) have connection with the UEFA Under21 Championship in football - Lublin is one of the hosts cities.	Po przejściu przez Bramę Krakowską możemy ujrzeć piękną starówkę Lublina - balony (moim zdaniem) mają coś wspólnego z mistrzowstwami UEFA do lat 21 - Lublin jest jednym z miast-gospodarzy

Some Old Town's buildings - in the bottom left you can see foundation of St. Michael Archangel church (it was dismantled in years 1846-1852 because of bad condition). Now, there is a flea market over there.	Budynki starego miasta - w lewym dolnym rogu widać fundamenty Kościoła św. Michała Archanioła (został rozebrany w latach 1846-1852 ze względu na zły stan). Teraz jest tam pchli targ.

This is a castle in Lublin. It was built in XII century. In years 1831–1954 it was used as a prison. Now there is a Museum of Lublin Voivodeship.	To zamek w Lublinie. Został zbudowany w XII wieku. W latach 1831-1954 był wykorzystywany jako więzienie. Teraz mieści się tam Muzeum Lubelskie.
