Who do I call
when the leaves have fallen
when the wind is icy
and the sky has turned grey

The cold reminds me of you
a fireplace and warm soup
The thunder roars in the distance
What do I do when you're so far away

The mists come in
and cover the trees
their nakedness an offense
Autumn is now spent

Who will replace you?
When the snow has fallen
and winter has begun
