in #photography8 years ago

Bird Park "Jurong", a shelter about 9 000 birds, is located in the homonymous district of Singapore.

Why is the post about the Park ? just dream to go there )))

In the biggest bird Park in Asia birds live almost free. No more cages and fences – birds fly freely in the huge aviaries, and visitors go to him "visit".

Each species of birds in Jurong painstakingly recreate native habitat. The Park has several themed areas: "the coast of the penguins"; "World of darkness", where there is night, and a special lighting system allows you to observe the active life of the nocturnal inhabitants; "Lori's Loft — the habitat of more than a thousand parrots; African and wetlands — home to storks and African birds; Pavilion with waterfalls" and "River Bay" — a system of artificial rivers and waterfalls, where you can see fish, birds and other amphibians.

But the most spectacular place on the reserve and lake with a population of graceful flamingos.

Once completed, authorities had ordered the ambassadors and foreign officials of Singapore on the acquisition of birds for the new Park. From that moment the cage with the finches, pheasants, herons, wild ducks, owls and cockatoos from around the world began to arrive in the Park. And besides, on the day of the opening of Jurong received the gift of the birds from 12 countries, seven zoos and forty individuals.

Every year 850 thousand tourists a year visit this, recognized as the best in the region, the bird Park. Number of birds also increased from year to year, and, in addition, there is a program to save endangered species.

In addition to the exhibitions in the Park, visitors can watch a special show of birds that are entertaining and informative at the same time. Such representations, where feathered actors will amuse visitors with their antics and stunts, hardly anyone indifferent.
