Close to the Creatures - Macro Photography of Bugs and other small things

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

There are thousand different types of insects and bugs in our world, most people just see them as annoying being that have no right to be here. Not infrequently, they are often eradicated using pesticides and insecticides made from chemicals.

Well, I did go on a "Hunt", but not that kind of hunt you are thinking off. I wasn't out to kill any of those precious and beautiful creatures at all. I went out to take some of the most amazing macro photographies that you've ever seen. Enjoy!

Sort:

always nice to see another macro photographer what lens did you use and is that dragonfly really your picture because i see so many hits on google image search.. and that lady bug looks a lot like https://imgur.com/t/ladybug/nl83b7F according to tineye.com what do you think Mr @steemcleaners ?
oh and tha spider yes it looks verry cool to bad you didn't make it yourself https://imgur.com/gallery/M7v108I

Yeah ive seen that dragonfly photo before on national geographic best shots 2011 winner

it's so sad to see these kids acting like they are god and actually they are some kind of nobody

This is crazy and so sad! I was going to resteem, upvote etc. Good that I read your comment before! So I say it to you instead of that "photographer": Good job, my friend!
Btw: How does google image search work?

I've reported to steemcleaners, @stresskiller and mentioned you as the finder! Hope that is ok for you! Again: Good job, my friend! 👍🏻

thank you Patrick

i use it in firefox with this : https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/google-search-by-image/ and google chrome has the option standardr i believe , just right click on image and say gooogle images search

Good to know! I'll be more careful in the future, for I resteemed this guys sunsets, that the "great free lance photographer" made. They are all stolen as well! Crazy world!
Have a good evening Mick! 😉

report this to steemcleaners in steemit.chat

It is reported now and they took first actions and discovered further plagiarism in his other posts! Thanks!

it wouldn't surprise me if they find more things like this on the same account seen it all before on TSU

This is unfortunate, that macro of a spider can require some pretty specialist equipment. I hope there's some explanation for this, surely @photo-trail should be made aware.

Its sad my photography post which are really top notch make like 3 bucks, and this guy has made hundreds of dollars off other peoples photos

that is why i tag "steemcleaners " and "cheetah" after i've done a little research :)

They don't see the tag, Mick @stresskiller ! Next time, you can report it on steemit chat:

I did it now, but, as I said, mentioned you as finder for I heard they send a reward. So no wonder if you get some extra SBD these days!

well i guess i'll drop some extra :)

He's not stopping at all, has posted again, 2 hours ago!

well if it's copyright violation i say report him again :)

I agree with you. It's discouraging when you see pics that are taken off of google or the like that are passed off as originals or even just posted without a link to the originals. Some of them are getting so much traction.

it can be done with a reverse lens and extension tubes but it looks like stacking work, and @phototrail should always use Google image search and tineye.com they are both free and very useful to find Plagiarism .
Maybe @cheetah should have a look to

Yeah it depends how the original photographer went about it. Either way, it's a shame it's not his work : /

You right, i see it

These pictures are awesome, especially the first one, are those 4 eyes? I literally can't stop looking at that picture.....

I am the macro woman so of course I love your shots. The details are my passion . Great post. Upvote and resteem. I invite you to see some of my work if you like :-) greetings

Sorry to tell you, Margaret: Most, if not all of his pictures are plagiarism. Report is made to steemcleaners. See the comments from stresskiller and steemcleaners here. I also resteemed his sunsets yesterday, but discovered they are all stolen as well! I'll be more careful with those unknown "super-photographers" in the future.
Wish you nevertheless a great day, my dear friend! 😉

So sad to hear that. What Is the point of doing such a thing. I will never understand 😲☹️

Did you see my post I sent you a link 🤗😁😊

Greetings and have a great day.

Thanks Margaret! Yes, I saw it, had no time to react. We had some trouble today, got bad news about Ewa's brother, but everything seems OK now so far, not so bad as thought. I'll have a look now!
A great day to you as well, my friend! 🤗

So sad to hear that. I hope everything is ok. Greetings to your lovely wife and after the storm is a beautiful sun. Let it shine on both of you. Hugs :)

Good work. Loved the Dragonfly pic - seems to be holding on for dear life

Oh dear. That's a shame

WOW...absolutely spectacular macro work @draketheman! The dragonfly is definitely my favorite but they're all impresive. What camera/lens are you using?

Great shots. You got the eye of a bug. :) In the bug world that is slang for you great photographer.

Absolutely amazing macro photography. Just had to resteem so hopefully it gets more coverage. Great post, hope to see more.

Thanks for that. I hate to see that here. 😠 damn!

Dam, those are very intimate shots. Out of these particular photos, the Ant is probably my top. The spider is freakin' awesome though.

I know, ppl don't understand how important insects are to our survival! It's hard to get past them sometimes bc they can be seemingly kinda gross or even dangerous. However, if they aren't bugging you, just let em do their thing. Bc their things is vital to our ecosystems!

Really?! wow that's pretty depressing...

Thanks for letting me know. It's a real shame that happened. Very impressive pictures nonetheless :(

COME ON MAN!!
