WikiLeaks Exposes How Council on Foreign Relations Controls Most All Mainstream Media—Time to Switch to Steemit

in #news7 years ago (edited)

It is no secret that over the last 4 decades, mainstream media has been consolidated from dozens of competing companies to only six. Hundreds of channels, websites, news outlets, newspapers, and magazines, making up ninety percent of all media is controlled by very few people—giving Americans the illusion of choice.

While six companies controlling most everything the Western world consumes in regard to media may sound like a sinister arrangement, the Swiss Propaganda Research center (SPR) has just released information that is even worse.

The research group was able to tie all these media companies to a single organization—the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).

https://twitter.com/JulianAssange/status/957631163358679040

For those who may be unaware, the CFR is a primary member of the circle of Washington think-tanks promoting endless war. As former Army Major Todd Pierce describes, this group acts as "primary provocateurs" using "'psychological suggestiveness' to create a false narrative of danger from some foreign entity with the objective being to create paranoia within the U.S. population that it is under imminent threat of attack or takeover."

A senior member of the CFR and outspoken neocon warmonger, Robert Kagan has even publicly proclaimed that the US should create an empire.

The narrative created by CFR and its cohorts is picked up by their secondary communicators, also known the mainstream media, who push it on the populace with no analysis or questioning.

When looking at the chart from SPR, the reach by this single organization is so vast that it is no mystery as to how these elite psychopaths guide Americans into accepting endless war at the expense of their mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters.

Top journalists and executives from all major media companies are integrated into the CFR. As the chart below illustrates, the CFR has even more control in the mainstream media than even the nefarious Bilderberg Group and the Trilateral Commission.

media

As SPR points out, Richard Harwood, former managing editor and ombudsman of the Washington Post, wrote about the Council on Foreign Relations Recognizing that its members most likely correspond to what one might call the "ruling establishment of the United States."

Harwood continued, "The membership of these journalists in the council, however they may think of themselves, is an acknowledgment of their active and important role in public affairs and of their ascension into the American ruling class. They do not merely analyze and interpret foreign policy for the United States; they help make it."

Let that sink in. This group of unaccountable, unelected, professional propagandists in America doesn't simply analyze US government policy—they make it.

While only five percent of the members of CFR work within the media, as SPR points out that is all they need to implement the will of its other members that includes:

  • several US presidents and vice presidents of both parties;
  • almost all foreign, defense and finance ministers;
  • most chiefs of staff and commanders of the US military and NATO;
  • nearly all National Security Advisers, CIA Directors, UN Ambassadors, Fed Chairmen, World Bank Presidents, and Directors of the National Economic Council;
  • some of the most influential members of Congress (especially foreign and security politicians);
  • numerous media managers and top journalists, as well as some of the most famous actors;
  • numerous prominent academics, especially in the key areas of economics, international relations, political and historical sciences, and journalism;
  • numerous executives from think tanks, universities, NGOs, and Wall Street;
  • and key members of the 9/11 Commission and the Warren Commission (JFK)
To highlight just how much control over the media the CFR wields we need only look at the fact that they operate—in the open—and receive nearly no media coverage. The former chairman of the CFR, High Commissioner for Germany, co-founder of the Atlantic Bridge, World Bank president, and an adviser to a total of nine US presidents, John J. McCloy actually bragged publicly about the CFR hand picking US politicians.

"Whenever we needed a man [in Washington], we just thumbed through the roll of Council members and put through a call to New York [to the CFR's headquarters office]," said McCloy.

Until the election of Trump the past four presidents have been the director of the CFR, George HW Bush, who was replaced by a member of the CFR, Bill Clinton, who was replaced by a family member of the CFR, George W Bush, who was then replaced by CFR aspirant candidate Barack Obama—who filled his cabinet with members of the elite group.

Although Donald Trump was never a public member of the CFR, that did not stop him from filling the White House with dozens of CFR members.

Here are just a few of the CFR members appointed by Trump:

  • Elaine Chao, United States Secretary of Transportation (CFR individual member)
  • Jamie Dimon, Member of Strategic and Policy Forum (CFR corporate member)
  • Jim Donovan, Deputy Treasury Secretary (CFR corporate member)
  • Larry Fink, Member of Strategic and Policy Forum (CFR corporate member)
  • Neil M. Gorsuch, Supreme Court Justice (individual CFR member)
  • Vice Admiral Robert S. Harward, National Security Advisor (declined appointment) (CFR corporate member)
Even though Trump wasn't a CFR member outright, his cabinet is made up almost entirely of its members. As this information illustrates—democracy is an illusion. If ever you needed another reason to tune out of mainstream media and seek out information for yourself—this is it. The time to switch to platforms like Steemit is now. It also explains why information like this, which challenges this worldview is under attack.

Please share this article with your friends and family to show them just how much of the information, political process, and their lives are controlled by a mere handful of people.

Since I was first introduced to steem ( few months ago) , I was thinking about Wikileaks and the like , Also when I introduce steemit to my friends, I usually bring this example .. not only the freedom of speech ( which is first priority), but financial freedom as wlll ( I remember when banks froze accounts of Asang and Wikileaks.. to corner and impose financial pressure on them when no donations .

Wow that is an incredible chart. I will be using that in a video in the near future. It has long been apparent that the Council of Foreign Relations serves as the command center for the corporate global government, but it is nice to have the backing of the extensive research done in the article above.
The oligarchy is terrified of losing their monopoly over the control of information. This is why "fake news" was a top topic at Bilderberg this year, Hillary Clinton and Obama led the original pubic call to censor "fake news", and CNN introduced the term "fake news". Ironically they now have asked the public to stop using the term. Lies travel around the world in an instant, but the truth wins in the long run.

Social media has accelerated this process. In the past it used to take years to expose media lies, but now it takes hours, sometimes minutes. The people now control the narrative. The questions is can we keep control? Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and Google have cracked down on free speech.
We must continue to fight on those platforms to wake up more minds, but must also bring more people to platforms like Steemit, which at least for now seem censorship proof. We will see.

this chart reveals the entire system of information control from the media to the politicians. It is damning and paints a seriously ominous picture of what most Americans would call reality.

My personal opinion is that two objectives must be met to facilitate a long term awakening in America. First, decentralize the media. Charts like the one above obviously help with that cause. The more people that become aware of the connection between government and media the more outraged people will be at attempts to censor alternative media. Second, the decentralization of the education system. We can spend infinite time and effort debunking media lies and "waking" minds but it will continue to be an uphill battle as long as the State gets a monopoly of access to young minds for the first 18+ years of their lives. The State controlling education not only leads to mass indoctrination, it also takes away people's ability to think freely using logic and reason. I believe my first book might be on this topic.

Good point

I love your posts they are great to read and keep me up to date on current news topics that aren't necessarily covered in mainstream media. As for the media, it has been well known for the last couple years how corrupt the media corporations have become as they will post stories and publish articles that push their own agenda. My eye opening experience was this last election as the major news media had Hilary Clinton winning the election by 10 to 12% and made it seem like it would be a landslide victory. Well they were wrong and because of that made me start to question their reliability. It would be great to have checks and balances on media organizations as they have a lot of influence on the world and its beliefs and if they are pushing ideas that are incorrect or only furthering their own agendas it is wrong as they should be as unbiased for us readers and consumers to make our own opinions. It will be interesting to see how cryptocurrencies might change the media world as there are cryptos out there specifically designed to change this and create a consensus based platform where people can validate news if it is real or flag it if it is fake. I would love to see laws be created to punish those agencies that push fake news to influence the public but I don't see something like that being able to have enough influence to change the current status.

Hey @Ricjames. Congratulations on your political awakening. I have been there myself and know that the "red pill" can be difficult to swallow. I always caution people to be careful when calling for government regulation of media companies, or any industry for that matter. We are taught that government regulates corporations, but in reality corporations that own the government regulate society under the veil of protecting people. Regulations will inevitably lead to the government declaring what you see on CNN, for example, to be truth; and what you see on the Free Thought Project to be "fake news". It is the Free Thought Project and similar media that will end up silenced. The answer is to take government out of it. Liberty is the absence of government. We are sold the lie that sacrificing Liberty for security keeps us safer. The truth is that he who surrenders liberty for security neither deserves, or will end up with either. If you are interested in knowing more about CFR infiltration of the media, I would be honored if you watched the report below:

Great video and thanks for the info. I have heard a lot of people talk about operation mockingbird but didn't know much about it. I had no idea about Anderson Coopers history but it is not surprising that he has ties to the CIA as he has had a questionable record of falsifying news stories. I was also surprised to hear about the council of foreign affairs being the ones to choose the CIA director. You make a lot of good points and share all the details in an organized matter. Keep up the good work and will start to listen to more of your videos on youtube.

Thanks @ricjames. All the information is out there but it is well concealed. I remember how shocked I was when I originally started doing deep research. The obvious questions come up: Why doesn't the media talk about these things? Why was this left out my education? an education that included a Bachelors degree in History.

The CFR is the best example of unelected elites deciding on policy for the largest government on Earth.

What I don't understand is that if Trump's cabinet is full of CFR members, which is part of the massive media propaganda machine, why would the media go after Trump and Trump call the media "Fake News". Wouldn't the CFR Trump administration be working together with the News corporations and Media powerhouses to further their agenda? @ironshield

Controversy = distraction.

Interesting thought. I wonder what we are supposed to be distracted from. @ironshield

Kabuki theatre

That evidence is absolutely damning, I really had no idea the reach extended so far. My only beef with this is concluding that any Steem platform or decentralization in general is the answer. I go round and round with my fellow Libertarians about this, merely because while the conceptual idea of decentralization is amazing, its implementation has been poor. The way Steem is set up right now, guarantees those with the most money and power a top spot on the trending pages. Money alone decides what content will be put in front of the majority of eyeballs. It's impossibly hard even to search for specific content. So the options then, are, scroll endlessly through content or just eat the first few pages of content that have been spoon fed to you, and be happy about it. There is nothing to prevent the government at large from investing into different cryptocurrencies and maintaining the stronghold that they also have on the vast network of other ways Americans consume media. It would only take a mere million bucks to drop into Steem to vastly control the content on the different Steem platforms. With the cost of just a few military tanks, the Fed could nearly fully control most decentralized platforms, and influence and tailor their content similar to how the do now with mainstream media. We want to believe that everyone has a bigger voice in a decentralized network, but that isn't true. Perhaps it is a safe alternative since the bigger voices tend to be Libertarian, anti-authoritarian, pro-peace, but it still doesn't change the reality that there is a gaping wide hole in decentralization that the creators left open for themselves really, as an opportunity for profit. I have no more voice on Steemit really than I did when I was an elected precinct committeeman. I am starting to believe that everything I know is just an illusion. My faith in decentralization and crypto crumbles the more time I spend delving deeper into it all.

Great thorough article though. Super informative!

power has centralized in the mainstream media in every country.. not in the us only.. so, they'd like to kick steemit out today or tomorrow...but it too late... google, facebook, twitter made people their worker.. blockchain crashed the chains.

Great post. Its also worth looking into Rothschild agent Paul Warburg who was the founder of the Council on Foreign Relations in 1921. Something not taught in US schools is the fact that he also was the CEO of the American branch of I.G. Farben when he died.

The Rothschild’s representative at 1913 Federal Reserve, the CFR,+ I.G. Farben

Also worth mentioning the release last year of the WikiLeaks Vault 7 Media OPs message.

Hopefully this new graphic from Assange (in your post) is his early shot across the bow before he starts to conduct a 2018 destruction of the mainstream media.

That is indeed what the USA is made up of. Foreign relations. A nation made by immigrants for the immigrants.
