Italy elections: Hanging parliament fears

in #news7 years ago

The general election was held in Italy on Sunday. And after this election, a hint of parliamentary hanging in a booth survey was found.

The Boothferrat poll says that the possibility of voting for the right-wing and populist parties is more likely. In the lower house of parliament, the middle-right-wing coalition of former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is going to get the majority. However, this coalition could not get absolute majority in the lower house of parliament. The middle-right alliance is expected to get 225 to 265 seats.

On the other hand, the Five Star Movement Party is in second place in the survey. There is a possibility of a single party to be elected to the majority in the party's election. The Five Star Movement Party could get 30 percent of the vote. There is a possibility of getting 195 to 235 seats.

The survey said the ruling mid-leftist Democratic Party could be in the third position with 115 to 155 seats. Failure on unemployment and immigration issues is seen as the main reason for the fall of the ruling party.

Meanwhile, being accused of cheating, she could not be the Prime Minister, but it is quite certain that Berlusconi will be in the driver's seat.
