Intel has unveiled what it calls "the world's most densely populated SSD storage memory". While SSD storage memory has been on the market for years, the design adopted in Intel's new storage memory is not only unique, but also enables Intel to include a large amount of storage in a device that is about 12 inches in size. The first Intel-formatted storage memory is 32TB.

It is the most intensive storage that Intel has been able to create so far. This new storage was manufactured using the company's 3D NAND technology, which stacked the memory cells on top of each other in very thin layers.

This design was first unveiled in Intel last year. This type of storage memory has been developed to provide maximum storage space while ensuring optimal thermal efficiency. This design is dedicated to servers, knowing that data centers are rapidly replacing the hard drives that require costly cooling systems to keep them running smoothly. Intel aims to take advantage of this new product.

32 units of new Intel storage can be placed next to each other in data centers. Compared to conventional HDD storage, SSD storage memory requires half the airflow to keep cool, at least according to Intel. When compared with HDD memories, they only require ten energy and one-third the space.

This is really nice, any ssd this large is a game changer! I want one, LOL! :)

A significant development especially in the operating cost of energy and cooling... but Maybe their prices are high

Pricing in computer parts will always be high when first introduced. But when competition enters the marketplace, these prices will fall quickly.

Energy savings are good, but speed will sell more of these than heating reduction will, I suspect.
I would like one myself!
