MARCH 22 - U.N. WORLD WATER DAY - Sponsored By Corporate Water Monopolists

in #nature7 years ago (edited)

Corporations build a monopoly while authoritarians oppress rainwater collection.

On a personal note, I would like to say that this type of information really hits home for me, because I lived for six months without running water in Nicaragua.

My additions are in bold and italics

Today, there are over 663 million people living without a safe water supply close to home, spending countless hours queuing or trekking to distant sources, and coping with the health impacts of using contaminated water.

Environmental damage, together with climate change, is driving the water-related crises we see around the world. Floods, drought and water pollution are all made worse by degraded vegetation, soil, rivers and lakes.

Translation:  Today, because of ignorance, immorality, and statism, billions of people don’t have a good water supply.  Monopolization of resources by oligarchs and bureaucrats is helping create this crisis.  Floods, drought, and water and soil pollution are all made worse by geoengineering programs, pesticide use, and GMOs.

Sustainable Development Goal 6 – ensuring availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all by 2030 - includes a target to halve the proportion of untreated wastewater and increase water recycling and safe reuse.

Translation:  Austerity Diktat 6, ensuring management of all water by a handful of corporations by 2030, includes a plan to give the vast majority of humans more chemical soup from the tap that poses as water.

World Water Day is coordinated by UN-Water – the UN’s inter-agency collaboration mechanism for all freshwater related issues - in collaboration with governments and partners.

World Water Day is coordinated by UN-Water, a fascist partnership pursuing the water takeover.

From

http://www.un.org/en/events/waterday/background.shtml

International World Water Day is held annually on 22 March as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources.

Translation:  International World Water Day is used as a means of brainwashing people into using less water, blaming humanity for non-existent climate change, and advocating the technocratic management of water by a few oligarch-owned corporations and authoritarian institutions.

The United Nations General Assembly adopted resolution A/RES/47/193 of 22 December 1992 by which 22 March of each year was declared World Day for Water, to be observed starting in 1993, in conformity with the recommendations of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) contained in Chapter 18 (Fresh Water Resources) of Agenda 21.

Translation:  Countless hours were spent by pompous authoritarian cowards to dream up a corporate-sponsored pseudo-celebration that is used to promote Agenda 21 austerity.

States were invited to devote the Day, as appropriate in the national context, to concrete activities such as the promotion of public awareness through the production and dissemination of documentaries and the organization of conferences, round tables, seminars and expositions related to the conservation and development of water resources and the implementation of the recommendations of Agenda 21.

Translation:  Totalitarian controllers of geographic areas were instructed to use this day to propagandize their populations, via a variety of pseudo-academic collectivist activities, into austerity development and the implementation of the Agenda 21 technocratic smart grid.

If you’d like to learn how corporations like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and Nestle finance and work with the UN, the World Wildlife Fund, and many other NGOs to further the centralization of water resources, here is a plethora of information.

HA! Yep!

Resteemed for sure! I "read" the same shit whenever I see their press releases like this...

Its all a load of shit spun up in a red ribbon and and packaged as "the solution" when really its their march towards total control of resources... like you thankfully translate for all those out there who can read this political language

Thanks! Yeah, I do my best to take the sugar coating off of statist rhetoric and put out information that's in closer alignment with reality.

It's incredible the number of people that still lack access to portable water it's alarming in fact.

In 2015, 60 million Nigerians lacked access to the least basic water amenities.

As development workers, our work is cut out. Water is key to life. It is life in fact.

We must do more to help more people get access to clean, portable water.

Thanks for the comment. It's not only the fact that so many people don't even have running water in their house, but also the fact that billions more can't drink the water they do have. It's only "good" for washing, etc.

Well, considering the fact that scientists have been crying in the four corners of the wind that planet sustainability is already reaching red level which due to overpopulation leads to simply not enough space to grow food (on earth) and also severe water shortage (which in places in south america has already been a problem, and well i betcha fiver africa too) ... which will inevitably by all Holmes-ian and Vulcan logic lead to food-riots, when water is the new gold and humans will be worth less than their weight in soil ...
since it all sounds so orwellian or brave new world and soilent green i suppose john slob (can i say that, pc-principal?) lets say the middle of the bell curve doesnt really CARE to think about it because iThings and ooh shiney (and ofcourse :"NOW SPORTS!") makes it as easy as jules caesar to keep the peasants down while the United Lobbies of the free world are positioning for total domination ... (but i think they're underestimating the bear and the dragons in the east abit)

and that sounds very conspiracy, i would even think so if it wasnt for the factual numbers and research and the simple reason that thats what power does : seek more power ...

im afraid awareness raising is mostly a waste but i agree for the few who open an eyelid it would be hard to close again

... im too lazy to copy my sig , i should make a post for that i guess so vote, follow for followback, resteem etc, the works ...

and something about free speech
