Hello my dear friends…
This time, i will share the first movie i watched in the cinema in my new city. As i am moving to a nee city, one of the first thing i checked was the cinema. Watching movie in a cinema is a healing activity for me, so its better if they have the option for me. Eventhough its a small city, i am lucky enough that they have one cinema in there. So, in the weekend i checked the cinema immediately with my husband. My husband is the one that suggested this Keramat 2 movie for me. I was hesitating at first because i didnt watch the first one, yet my husband told me that its okay since the first one released more than 10 years ago. It might have nothing to do with this continuation because of the year gap. He also said that the only relation between the first Keramat and the second Keramat might be only the directing and producing styling, since its what makes the first Keramat was so famous.

The movie begun so naturally to the point that i only realized its already on in the third minute of it. I thought it was just an ads at first. I didn’t watch the first Keramat so i didnt know that they used the first person point of view throughout the movie. Its feels real and relatable. It makes me wonder how the script looks like because every conversation and expression looks so real, like its them in their own personality, not a character in a movie. I have been watching one of their cast member, which is Keanu, for so long. I know his way of speaking, his catchphrase, his body language, and all of them can be seen in the movie. It was an interesting concept that i personally never seen before especially in a horror movie.

There’s also one thing i liked about this movie. It is that they’re not a scary movie that gave us jumpscares. I hate jumpscares because my heart feel too weak for that so sometimes i feel the ache in my heart while watching movie with a lot of jumpscares. They give enough horror but in such a natural way which i really appreciate.

With positivity comes negativity. First thing first, we might get a minor dizziness with the running scenes since its a first person point of view so the camera went crazy while they’re running. Secondly, its the personality of some characters. It makes us wants to just smacks their head. Maybe its the potrayed of majority of teenagers . They feel like they can do anything and entitled to everything to the point that their action and reaction endangering themselves and the people around them. You will understand what i was saying if you watched the movie, i thought of them as egoistical, prideful, and foolish.

Overall, its a good movie worth to watch. There’s also a surprise in the half end of the movie and i dont wanna spoil it for people that didnt watch yet planned to watch it. Anyway, the first Keramat available on Netflix so you can watch them first while waiting for the second one available in Netflix. It’s supposed to be a good movie too.
