in #macro6 years ago (edited)

Hello Friend steemit all. Hopefully this can be a beautiful day for us to share our stories. Today I want to share a story about a very easy insects we encounter in the green foliage. Striking orange color combined black appear from behind the green foliage, make me become interested in approaching and noticed the colors of it. Striking color behind the foliage it is an anthropomorphic insect Dysdercus cingulatus. Insect of the family Pyrrhocoridae is easily captured with bare hands, in addition because of its striking insect-sized 11-17 mm is also rarely fly.

Insects that have the term's "Mr. pucung " is easily found in a green environment. Not just green but also supports life, this insect would love to play in the leaves or flowers stood. I find it again play around the foliage around where I live.

Plants of the family cotton-abelmoschus moschatus (malvaceae) is a favorite stop of this insect. So that the insect is known by the name of red cotton bug. His presence that is not expected in the estate make Dysdercus cingulatus considered pests.
