Bad Day Turns Into A New Steemit User!!
Hello, My Beautiful Steem people. What a day, What a day. @youngogmarqs today is a day where I really had to test myself to keep a smile on my face, but I won! That good energy brought positivity back into the negative situation I was in.
To start the day off I cycled 50-55 miles, everything was going great, grand even. That's when I got a flat, I hit a big rock at the time, so I figured that's what it was, flipped a new tube in and I went off. Not even a mile later and I got another flat. I also hit a rock, but I checked to make sure the tire was good, made sure there was nothing poking through for a good 5 minutes. Replaced the tube, and then another flat within a mile. I KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG! So I stopped took everything off my bike once again.. the third time. I then went scientific with my search of anything poking through my tire. A good 15 minutes and I finally found that there was a tiny metal shard sticking through. Got it out, went to grab my last spare tube, and somehow I bought the wrong tube. I still didnt get too upset, because i knew that would bring more negative energy in my life. I was 15 miles away from where I needed to be and I started walking. About 10 miles in, yes 10 miles in, A nice young gentleman stopped. I could tell he was a biker because he had a bike hanging off the back of this truck. He stopped and gave me a ride. I was in shock. He gave me a ride into town, about 6 miles and gave me a patch kit. I was so happy of his kindness he showed. Told me he would take me all the way to Salt Lake if I needed.. I told him I wanted to ride, because of this project I was doing. That's when I gave him my Steemit Card and he was so interested. He told me he is going to sign up , and start posting about his cycling and his hunting expeditions out in the woods. I then walked another mile to my campsite, which was only $5, what a steal. They also have really good wifi, and an electrical outlet right by my tent! What more could a man need? Well some spare tubes. I talked to the ost and sasked where the next big town would be where I could by some spare tubes, and she went and called her son down, and asked if he could pick me up some spare tubes since he was going into town later tonight! I know for a fact, I fact If I was upset and kept getting down on myself when I got those three flats and had to walk those 10 miles, none of the great things that happened for me today would of happen!

Rough day but glad you were able to keep such a positive attitude about it. The mind is 51%+ of any endevor. You seem to be finding some awesome people along your way. Truly amazing the kindness people can show, if more people were like that the world would be a better place. Keep up the attitude and the motivation and you will go far. A quote that pertains to your situation. " If you want to go fast go alone if you want to go far go together" while we aren't physically with you were are rooting for you and help anyway we can.
Thank you so much, yeah I've been lucky to come across some pretty awesome people. I'm lucky I'm finally in shape after 16 days because today I went over two little passes. Day one, id be dying.

What a wicked way to end the story, sounds like all good news to me the way you put it, the flats weren't even an issue :) And the best part is getting another Steemian onboard. Great work helping us grow!!

Glad the day turned out for the better and pretty sure you had yourself a good fuel up...where ever it was you walked a mile to eat.
Finding any fruit trees ans berry bushes along your travels? Bring any fishing gear with you?
Lol...not expecting any replies but...I always say 'you don't get if you don't ask'. I'm sure if you come across someone with fruit trees they wouldn't mind if you helped yourself to a few...as long as you ask. It's obvious I don't have to mention the magic of being polite.
