I would really need some advice..

in #life7 years ago

Dear Steemit. I am a 19 year old boy, I have been fighting to live somewhere for me to call home. My parents won't allow me back home, I keep being forced to live in the middle of nowhere with my grandmother. I have a wonderful boyfriend who loves me more than anything, and I wish to live near him..

I have been struggling with this issue since I was 17. One night I was left outside after hanging out with friends and my parents wouldn't come pick me up. It was approximately -15°C, I really thought I was going to die that day.. With no sleep, nor food.. The night was long for me. Ever since that night, I was sent to my grandmother's far from everything I ever known.

I've been trying really hard to find a job. I've had a few interviews and a dozen of calls, but I have never struck any luck. I'm still trying so very hard and I have no idea what else to do.. I've been trying so hard to hide my sorrow and to show happiness but right now I am really in a huge problem, and I really need to find a place to be..

What makes me most happy is spending time with my boyfriend, he cares about me more than anything and I'm so happy to have him by my side.. If he could, he would help me.. But he's persuing his career by finishing his school, he is living with his parents, therefore I cannot move in with him..

I would really need advice.. I have no clue what my options are at the moment. I have no money, no parents, I am pretty much losing everything I have. Even with everything crumbling upon me, I won't give up, I want to find a way, and I know I will be happy if I keep pushing myself.. I just don't know what to do, and even if I don't know how, I'll still keep trying my very best..

But please.. if anyone has any advice for me, please let me know.. I am so very scared right now.. and if anyone has any tips or advice on what I should do it would be greatly appreciated..

Thank you in advance..

Join the Canadian Army. You get a job, paid education, good salary, free housing, free personal trainer, and lots of buddies. Go into something that translates into a civilian job like dental or medical. If you start jogging and working out now, you can probably get to the point where you can run 1 mile and do 20 pushups and sit-ups before shipping off to basic training. The mobile infantry made me the man I am today. HOOOAHH!!

@meanmommy33 is spot on. Though now things may look dim, there is light all around you in your life that you know is there for you. You must keep doing what you are doing trying to get a job as that will allow you to then get somewhere else next.
Maybe start a journal to write things down when you feel most down so that you find a way to let things out. It is all step by step but always focus on the positive and let go of the bad stuff so that it lives in the past and not block your future.

Sounds like you're going in the right direction. You have a healthy relationship and you're looking for work.

Keep going!

@xeleos your story just broke my heart... But as fellow steemian @ds100 says, keep on because you're doing it right! It might take time, but it'll happen for you soon, you just need to believe it!

You should go through my last posts on life and experiences, maybe they'll help. You are so young, only 19 years old!! The World is yours!!! And you have a special someone who you love and loves you back! The rest will come soon -since you're already going to interviews it can't be long! Don't forget: Love and positive vibes conquer all! Do no despair ! This is the worst mistake you can do :/ Keep on, look up and move to happiness!

Maybe now everything seems black - but it's not. It's really gray and soon enough it'll be white, you'll see!
I'm not going to comment on your parents, because it's not of my business and this whole story is about you not them...
Any potential support from your grandma? Presuming not?

You know that many people have it much worse than you, in all aspects of their lives. I know, it's not helpful -we all have our own problems... but once in a while it's good to look at others, in more difficult situations than us to feel stronger...Imagine someone on a wheelchair... He still smiles, so why don't you? You're so cute and sweet, don't throw away your smiles for anyone, even if that 'someone' is your parents!

I don't know if I helped in any way, but we can also talk in private sometime if you like. Steemians are here and I think you did a good thing posting about that - sometimes you find support from the least expected side... ;)

Don't give up! Remember all the blessings you have and let it carry you through the rough time. It won't be easy but like ds100 and meanmommy33 said, you are in the right direction just keep looking and applying for work. At first you might need to work at a crappy job but it will provide you income. Next just keep looking for cheaper housing, it might just be temporary till you find a better place to live. I have adapted this concept of do now and better later as long as you are willing to work for it. My love and best of luck to you.

Hey there @xeleos, watch the movie the secret on youtube and read up on law of attraction. These 2 changed my life. What we think and feel plays a huge part in our life. Hopefully this might help you.
