Some may call it Gut, Instinctive, Vision, Soul or Innate wisdom. All these are ascribed to what we tag Inner voice. However, let’s look at the Oxford definition of Inner voice.
The ability and potency to fathom a thing promptly, with no regards to premeditated reasoning.

If you ask me, I’ll say it’s a feeling, hump and sensation.

In the beautiful words of Malcolm Gladwell’s, he stated that; thinking is a process, it’s not automatic. However, thinking isn’t just an easy task, it involves concentration, calmness, and focus. Malcolm has diverse lessons from people possessing a hunch, intuition or feelings. Hence, science and history have proved this experiment carried out by Malcolm.

Amazingly, are you aware that 95% of the activities occurring up in our brains eventuate at an unconscious platform? This analysis has proved itself by prominent neuroscientists, they discovered that 95% of the happenings in our minds are incubated from an unconscious state of mind. This includes our feelings, emotions, beliefs, behaviors and operation.

Every minute in our life, information, data, facts and news flows through our senses - sometimes we act based on what we think. That’s why you’ll hear some persons say " I didn’t do it intentionally", to a large extent they are right. The feelings, hunch, information, facts and data that runs through our mind tends to influence our actions in reality.
Then there’s cognition.

“The mental action or process of acquiring knowledge and understanding through thought, experience, and the senses.”

No doubt these feelings are coherent and valid, measuring the information and data that override our predispositions are addressed below;

How come I don’t hear this inner voice

Naturally, there’s no human on earth who doesn’t encounter this inner voices. Most times the guidance and intelligence aren’t always up in our heads. Habitually, it comes in the form of feelings, excitement, energy or emotions. Furthermore, we might notice it in our body physically. Take it from me, there’s literally no other way to fathom our inner voices, the crucial thing to pinpoint is where and when you feel it.

Surprisingly we have the ability to think with our gut. According to some research and history carried out by me, I’ve realized that there is what scientists call a second brain." How do I know this? It’s as a result of the enteric nervous system (ENS) relating to our intestines. However, this experience can function independently in our brains and spinal cord and also the central nervous system.

In the beautiful words of Marisa peer, a therapist and pioneering hypnotherapy trainer, she stated that;

The stomach is the seat of all emotions and your feelings are the most real thing you have; so the trick is to listen to your feelings. If something feels wrong, your inner voice is saying it is not right for you. If you get the horrible lurch in your stomach, your inner voice is telling you ‘this is wrong’.”

Sometimes I do experience these feelings, 90% of it comes directly from my heart. A good friend of mine, Jessie Gardner founder of HeySoul.com website, once said in her books that" Her incisive sense of self-consciousness arises from her heart. However, this is no surprise in the correlation of our heart.

I can legitimately vouch that majority of folks out there still don’t know how the heat operates. Scientifically, there are about 40,000 neurons with their designated explicit operations.### In conclusion
I’ll leave you with one facet. Pay proper attention to your inner voice. Majority of the challenges and circumstances we encounter in reality are incubated as a reason for disobedience to our inner voices. Perhaps you have a bad feeling towards something, or something isn’t just right, pay attention to that voice, it’ll do you a lot of good.

Adhering to your inner voice will direct you on the right path of life consecutively. Well definitely experience greater happiness, success and triumph if we deliberately follow our inherent wisdom and intelligence.

In the word beautiful words of Madeleine L’Engle,

“Don’t try to comprehend with your mind. Your minds are very limited. Use your intuition.”
