Outdoor Music Venue Looks Like a Landfill

in #life8 years ago

If you live near Washington, and/or are familiar with the Gorge Amphitheater, you may have been aware of the ever popular weekend long country music (and drinking) festival known as Watershed happened over this last weekend from the 29th to the 31st.

For you who have never seen the Gorge, it is an outdoor amphitheater basically in the middle of nowhere. It sits overlooking the Columbia River, and is an absolutely beautiful place to go see a show.

But in just 1 weekend, this beautiful plot of land was turned into an utter wasteland.

Yes, someone actually hauled and left a sofa! How can people do this? How can you go to such a beautiful place that has been used for decades by many a person, trash it, and just leave like its not your responsibility to pick up after yourself?
And here's the kicker: It's happening again this coming weekend. Same venue, same music festival, and probably a lot of the same patrons. I would leave this pile of trash for when they return, but if people camped in it one weekend, they would probably be willing to do it another weekend.

There's no reason thousands of of people can't come together, have fun, get drunk, listen to music, and leave the place no worse than they found it. I understand that there will always be some trash left behind whenever so many people get together in one area, but we can do better than this.

Sort:

98% of humans are retarded devolved slaves with no connection to Nature. They will kill themselves off soon. I just hope that there's something left when they go.

It would be cool to watch youtube videos of the event, identify the people hanging out near the garbage that was left, find them, and sick the corrupt pigs that their lifestyles support and make necessary on them. Civilization sucks.
