Istanbul's Traffic Is Fine For These Days
People who live in big crowded city such as
- Los Angeles
- New York City
- Moscow
- Sao Paulo, Brazil
- San Francisco
are familiar to trafic problem. I personally travel Europe continent to Asia continent for reaching my university from home. So traffic is very big problem for me like everyone else. Our country building lot of road to solve trafic problem but it is far from solution.
Summer Trafic is Less Then Other Seasons in Istanbul
Summer in Istanbul is generally good for traffic. Because people travels and go holidays at that season. Moreover this month is Ramazan (Muslim's Holy Month ) so people eats and drinks nothing at daytime. For this reason traffic is less then other times.

I am a native of Los Angeles, California. I am 53. Up until seven years ago, I drove and got used to LA traffic jams for about 27 years. I could never say throughout all the years I had been living there that Summer had less traffic. To the contrary. You Istanbulus are most fortunate.
I have been in LA traffic too, but LA traffic better than NY.
Yes, New York traffic is a beast AT TIMES. I would still aregue that it is worse generally in LA. That's just what I think.
In my travel, i saw lots of cool sports car in LA so it was enjoyable traffic :D

It is true that building more roads is not the solution to fixing traffic, more cars will use them worsening the problem; better public transport is.
Istanbul is a really huge city.
