Vlog 270: Dlive attack update + Steemit developer portal.
Dlive released a new update about what transpired yesterday. here.
Their internal upvoting management tool was maliciously attacked. The keys were not compromised but have been changed just in case.

This tool is only used by the DLive Team to curate content efficiently and effectively. This tool does not have any of the @DLive account keys programmed into it. The @DLive account and it's keys were not compromised at any point during this attack.
They will upgrade the security of their voting tool.
Besides the loss of their voting power, no further damage has been caused.
I think the way they handled the situation after it happened has been professional with the constant updates and the reversal of all the votes.
Steemit developer portal
A couple of days ago the steemit team released a blog post about improvements on the developer portal here.
For users of the steem blockchain there is probably not much there but for developers, it's a really handy source of information.
It's nice to see the more consistent updates from the team.

@exyle your videos are a major hook-up for me on Steem related updates lately. I don't think Steem will ever go below 1$ either, actually, as liquid Steem supply drops I think we will see a major run up in price on the next bull market cycle.

Dude I knew something was up when i noticed Dlive were upvoting shit posts of 1 photo to over $100. I thought it was wrong of them, but thought maybe there was a reason they were voting for them... didn't realize Dlive had been compromised. We are okay to upload videos to Dlive still?
Perfectly fine.
Luckily they were not able to get into the account with the master key, if not those would be very bad news indeed! DLive will go back to normal again. Steem is going to rise in 4/20 I am pretty sure, I need a bit of hokus pokus to predict future prices! :D
It´s great to see that DLive developers are trying to keep things clean with it´s community and always releasing new information about what´s happening with their project. Just a small problem in a great walk to success...
I have said this before, I always agreed with your point to buy at $6K for BTC, but I always thought that STEEM at $1 was to low... I think we reached our lower, we might take some time to break out again, but I'm pretty confident that the price of crypto won't go lower.
Maybe $1 STEEM was too optimistic. But let's see! Only time will tell :). If it goes up from here I would be very happy too.

This is the first i have heard of the attack at dLive. Glad it's under control. If only i had the resources to get some steem when it was recently at 1.5 i would have totally powered up. I missed the sub 1 boat. But, who knows what the future holds!! Fun stuff.
