I usually stay up on current events, and I’ve always been very outspoken about my beliefs. I’ve never shied away from discussion or debate. Keeping my mouth shut when someone makes a nonsensical political, or historical statement, even if it’s not the time or place for such discussion, was like trying to sink a beach ball for me.

Nowadays though, I can hardly read the news, and I find myself walking away when I hear the words ”Trump” or ”Russia”. Both sides of the spectrum have drifted so far from any philosophical, or reasonable arguments, that engaging frustrates me to the point of depression.

A few years ago it seemed like everyone was awake to the fact that the political establishment on both sides of the isle were working towards the same agenda, and we were all ready for anti-establishment leaders. But all it took was an old orange colored man saying mean things, for everyone to jump right back on the bandwagon. Now we bicker amongst ourself over petty issues while war wages on, and debt is still forced into the world. The tactics of divide and conquer proving itself once again. The elites have convinced us to take side against each other once again, while they continue their agenda. Divide and conquer. Divide and conquer. Divide and Conquer. I’m just gonna stock my head in the sand and wait for the collapse.
