Variations – Traditionally in the South, mustard is added to deviled eggs. Yellow mustard is considered a no calorie condiment simply because eating enough to count as a single calorie would be much more than any one person would want to eat. Brown mustard, aka Deli mustard has about 5 calories per teaspoon. Neither has any carbs, fiber or protein.

Some people prefer sprinkling a little paprika on top of their deviled eggs. A light sprinkling would not have enough of any nutrient to worry about counting. A tablespoon however, would need to be counted, so adjust accordingly.
