The Sunnah Commandment Runs Monday and Thursday Fasting
Monday and Thursday fasting is the fast most often performed by Prophet Muhammad SAW. As the words of the Messenger of Abu Hurayrah:
"The Messenger of Allah (SAW) was the fastest man on Monday and Thursday and when asked about his reasons, the Prophet said," All the works of righteousness are offered on Mondays and Thursdays, then Allah will forgive the sins of every Muslim or every believer, except for two hostile people. So Allah says, "Suspend both." (HR Ahmad).
"All the deeds of mankind on Monday and Thursday will be examined by angels, therefore I am glad when the deeds of my deeds are examined I am in fasting condition." (HR Tirmidhi).
Even every practice of fasting will get 10 times reward from Allah, this has been promised by Allah SWT in a hadith Qudsi:
"Fasting is mine and I alone will repay it, and the good will be multiplied tenfold." (Narrated by Bukhari and Abu Daud).
