Hello everybody!

My name is Svetlana. A month ago I joined Steamit, but so far I have not figured out what's here and how. So today I want to tell you a little about myself.

Small joys of life
After graduating with honors, I entered the Kharkiv Aviation University for correspondence department and immediately went to work in a local hospital. She worked first as a secretary, then, after obtaining a bachelor's degree, she moved to the planning and economic department, and after obtaining a diploma of a specialist, she headed this department herself.
Having worked in the medical field for fifteen years, I found myself thinking that I would also like to be a doctor. I am interested in the medical process itself, the diagnosis, the purpose of treatment. Perhaps this is the result of the fact that my husband is a doctor and we often talk to him about medical topics.
To make my life and life of everyone who surrounds me, brighter, I'm fond of creativity. I like to do different things with my own hands.

Paper, beads, tapes - my ways of stress removal

Even in my childhood I was carried away by origami. Since the colored paper was then deficit, I made my figures simply from newspapers and magazines. Learning about the variety of origami - kusudam, with great pleasure began to make flower balls consisting of many modules - from 40 to 300, and sometimes even more!

Often I did modules right in the lessons of biology and history, hiding my hands under the desk and looking into the eyes of the teacher. It's just that I so mastered this art that I could fold the modules without looking. Thanks to modular origami, I was able to develop spatial thinking, perseverance and patience.

Thanks to my aunt, I have knitted and crocheted since ten years. And my first product was immediately a sweater for my sister, and not socks or gloves. I learned to knit them in the last place

My grandmother taught me how to embroider a cross, and then I mastered the technique of embroidery with beads.

After a while I plunged into the weaving with beads. To some acquaintances this my hobby seems monotonous and boring work, but it brings me great pleasure and helps to relax, to distract from problems, to remove internal tension and stress. And in the process of weaving with beads, I have time to think about life or just to dream.

Seeing once in a magazine embroidered satin ribbons picture, I decided to master this kind of creativity. I bought all the necessary materials, magazines with master classes, since then there was no access to the Internet, and slowly began to master all the nuances. I noticed that in the process of embroidering with satin ribbons, the mood always rises, I seem to be filled with vital energy. Therefore, if I feel that my strength is running out, I open the drawer of the table with the materials and plunge into the world of band art.

I can not imagine my life without pencils and paints, because I love drawing.
