A day before the concert

I was with my great friend Alfredo Peña, a music lover and extremist (I will soon write about him) and with Rafa Coutinho, both followers of music and artists; We were in the hotel where the band would be waiting for the most exciting moment for any fan, we were there and there used to be a lot of conversations about our record collections while we had a good coffee from the cafe in the hotel lobby, I remember that I was escaped from my work at that time, that it was not so far away, but I was still in another wave that was not exactly my work schedule; After part of the day, at around 1:15 p.m., a white executive van arrives on the other side of the hotel's main door. Soon after, it is parked right in front of the hotel. Someone, being that moment where the group was preparing to get off the transport that had brought them from the Simón Bolívar International Airport.

At that time we could not access them because they were coming, you could tell they were exhausted from the trip, so we decided to leave the hotel and come back for a while. However, since I had so much excitement from just having seen them pass by in front of me, I wanted to be in the hotel, I got to my job and I said that I had an issue to take care of so I could have time and go to have my disk signed. "Music from another dimension!" That I had recently purchased.

Being in the hotel after a couple of hours I sat alone to wait for some member of the band to pass to autograph my record, waiting a long time, it was like 7:23 pm and I was about to go to my house in sight that no one had passed all day, as I'm about to cross the front door of the hotel I see the reflection of the elevator at the end of the lobby, opening its doors, while Brad Whitford (rhythm guitarist) was slowly leaving at that moment the nerves reach me and the first thing I did was to turn around and slowly approach him, with a nervous and a little trembling voice I say in English "Hi Brad" showing him my disc and the black tip fine marker, he understood I wanted him to autograph it, he kindly took it and proceeded to sign, besides that he told me something that I could not understand and giving me a guitar finger went away and got lost.
