Permission to come aboard
Hi,
My name is David. I am a retired,previously unemployable comedian on a small, but sufficient pension and found this wonderful community while exploring cryptocurrency. The thought of free speech is a breath of fresh air in this politically correct charged world. I believe in dialogue, not attacking but discussing things. I hope to be blogging on a daily basis providing my health allows me. I promise not to be verbose. I have some unpublished video and find that one minute each is enough to provoke thought. research, discussion and hopefully smiles and chuckles.
My interests are diverse but include laughing and making people either laugh or smirk, Peace and Love, nontheism, science, human rights, politics and much more.
As soon as I can figure out how to buy bitcoin and exchange it for steempower I will be a happy camper. It seems there is a backlog in registering on exchanges. I could buy on localbitcoins in cash but then what? I have heard of delays and problems so I am looking for the best way to get some steempower. All suggestions are thankfully received.

Hi - I loved your opening line. I think you will certainly find this place refreshing.
I am a theist :).. but I love rational discourse and we'd probably share a lot of similar views on a lot of things, especially if you like discussion (which is a dying art)! I feel at home here. For the most part, I plan to not focus on religion and politics myself, but rather art and my own personal artistic work (I'm a singer-songwriter in case you want to browse through my videos). Frankly, that's controversial enough! And I need to focus or I'll go crazy.
