Teknik pencahayaan ini hampir sama dengan low key, hanya berbeda pada sumber cahaya yang digunakan, sumber cahaya yang di gunakan untuk teknik ini biasanya menggunakan lilin atau sejenisnya
Foto yang dihasilkan memberikan kesan dalam, damai, kuat, teduh
