My fitness routine for the week ended 15th September, 2024, StayFit Wednesday Soccer ⚽⚽⚽ was played under the rain

Hi guys, I welcome you back to my fitness update as well as my football ⚽⚽⚽ wednesday that my fitness group had. It was a wonderful week as I didn't stay back any of the days despite the heavy rains that have been falling lately.

As a routine, I worked out every Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 6:30 am till when we are done usually 9am or beyond especially the days we have football. Sometimes it's as if we should stay there till the end of the day.

For the week under consideration, I tailored the programs I gave out to my clients to the topic of the fitness engagement challenge so that those steemians with me to can be able to participate. What I mean is that for last week, our programs was cardio just as the fitness team present last week.

To get everyone involved, I will always encourage them to do their warm up, then we start our cardio programs, then we climax with stretches. But on Wednesday, after the stretches, we began the football game.

Warmups

In each of the days, I always made sure that we warmed up before joining the programs. And I am not such a trainer that will give out programs and will not join in carrying them out.

Each of the mornings for the last week, I did jog round the field for at least 5 times. This 5 times of 2.5 km.

After that, I will still give out some warmup programs because some people comes late and some don't like jogging at all. So in order to make sure that everyone warms up, I will still take them on some warm up programs like like hand raises, body movements, leg swings and so on.

On Monday, I jogged 5 times round the field. Some clients used the skipping rope. The other warmup followed

On Wednesday, I used the jump rope to skip along with others. I was able to skip 300 times.

Then on Friday, I did other warmup up programs like imaginary jump rope without the skipping rope, then movement of the arms and legs.

On Saturday was jogging.

The points that, warm up programs help to inform the body that you are about to exercise. Thus, the body will be set to exercise without being in shock of any kind..

The fitness programs proper

As soon as the warm up programs were done in each of the days, I proceeded with the main programs. Below are the cardio programs according to the days.

For Monday, we used the step boards generously to carry out aerobics classes. We danced, jumped, moved from right to left, touched our feets, did overhead with the arms along because there was no dumbbells for everyone

On Wednesday, the step boards came in handy again. We did jumping jacks, high knees, jumbo in place, dances and other programs that engaged the heart. The pictures will tell more

It was soccer time! We switched to football game when it was 8:15 am. We paired according to the people available and who are willing to play.

The funniest part was that it was drizzling. I thought we won't be able to play but no. Clients were will to jump in and play. While I was still delaying, the already took the ball and went into the field. They even gave me shower cap to cover my hair. That was how we played under the rain all through. It was fun but we kept falling down due to the slippery nature of the field but we didn't get hurt. We were careful. Everyone that played enjoyed the game so well.

We went again on Friday with wonderful moves. Different cardio programs- jumping jacks, high knees, side jumps with the swinging of the arms and many more

On Saturday, which was the last day of the fitness week, we concluded our cardio week Tabata moves. We undertook different cardio programs too. It was an awesome week

At the end of the week, a client said this on our group on WhatsApp. See it below

She compiled most of our videos and pictures into one video and sent to us. Truly, it is good to focus on a particular body parts in a week so as to achieve the desired result.

That was how my last week went.

The pictures were mostly taken with my device. But few were taken by other clients and shared to us in our group for use. Thank you all and see you in my next update
