May there be peace in the world and may all be happy. International Day of Peace is observed on 21 September every year. This day is observed to promote peace and establish peace around the world.

International days are established and promoted by the United Nations. The United Nations plays the most important role in establishing international peace in which every country has a representative in this United Nations. 21st September is Peace Day. On this day, activities that promote peace are observed. This day works according to the theme Let the world be peaceful. To encourage activities that promote peace in the society and within the country and to mobilize people and make them aware. Bringing the world to a peaceful state is the cherished goal of this day.

Give a brief description of your mascot.

Wanting peace does not make peace, we need to unite and forget violence. We need to forget about showing our single power and authority and call for compassion towards each other. Friendly behavior by extending a helping hand to one another can establish peace.

What change do you think this day brought about in your community?

How much peace has been achieved today is not visible. Because the world is in turmoil today. There are wars going on in countries and third countries are not taking measures to stop these wars which has destabilized the whole world.

My question is how effective is this day in my community or in the world? The United Nations can play a more effective role in stopping wars between countries. The United Nations can be a role model for peace across the world if all member states of the United Nations can unite to stop war and establish peace.

Who are the active promoters, and what do you think could be added to make more of an impact in your community?

The United Nations and many other countries are active promoters of this day for establishing peace and actively observe this day. To celebrate this day, promote non-violence and extend the hand of friendship among people.

I think the UN can play the highest role in establishing this peace. The United Nations can play an important role in uniting all the member states of the United Nations to bring peace to the world.
