"Discovering Dolo: A Hidden Gem of Venetian Beauty and Urban Art"

I want to share with you the experience I had yesterday. I went back to visit the town of Dolo, which I think I've already mentioned here. In any case, I had already made a video about it on my YouTube channel. I took advantage of the morning hours because rain was expected in the afternoon, and indeed, I wasn't able to take many photos because the rain arrived earlier than expected.

Anyway, Dolo is located on the beautiful Brenta Riviera and is definitely a picturesque village that truly represents Venetian culture. It's a stop you shouldn't miss, especially since this village is nestled in a very beautiful area, rich with villas that were built during the Republic of Venice.

Many of these villas require an entrance fee, but some can also be admired from the street, so they are practically free.

What made this village important during the time of the Republic of Venice is the fact that it is located near the Naviglio of the Brenta River, which is still navigable today. In fact, an experience you shouldn’t miss is taking a boat cruise along the Naviglio, which gives you the chance to enjoy breathtaking views as you sail.

As you can see from the photos, while strolling through the streets of Dolo, I came across a beautiful mural, and I discovered that since 2016, Dolo has been hosting an urban art festival that has attracted famous artists, even internationally, to participate in this festival and beautify the streets of this charming town.

So, for lovers of Urban Art, here you really have the chance to admire some beautiful open-air artworks. I've always liked Dolo because this lovely village, which rises on the waters of the Brenta River, is not only very picturesque but also, in my opinion, very romantic.
