La vittoria della nazionale femminile di volley e quelle di molti nostri atleti alle Olimpiadi, atleti cromaticamente non in linea con un certo pensiero, ha riportato alla luce il problema dello Ius Soli.
Attenzione, non voglio parlare di razzisti e di razzismo anche se l'argomento non approda poi cosi' lontano da quelle terminologie, semplicemente a molti il fatto che persone con un colore della pelle diverso dal nostro abbiano lo stesso passaporto che abbiamo noi...non va giu'.

L'Italia storicamente non e' una societa' multietnica, lo stiamo diventando per la regola dei flussi, ma non lo siamo mai stati.
Non lo siamo mai stati perche' non siamo stati una potenza coloniale seria, abbiamo avuto per qualche anno dei territori in Africa che nessuno voleva (il petrolio libico ancora non era vitale) ma non c'e' mai stato alcun tentativo serio di integrazione di quelle popolazioni col tessuto culturale e sociale italiano.
Francia, Inghilterra, Olanda, Spagna e Portogallo hanno percorso strade differenti.
I neri di Francia ed Inghilterra sono da decenni cittadini francesi ed inglesi cosi' come i mulatti olandesi, i latinos spagnoli od i meticci portoghesi.

Quando ero ragazzino era rarissimo ritrovarsi in classe, a scuola, un non italiano, non ricordo di averne mai avuti come compagni.
Poi pero' il mondo e' cambiato, l'arricchimento di una parte del pianeta a scapito di un' altra ha dato vita, come dicevo, alla politica drammatica sotto certi versi dei flussi.

Molti italiani questo non lo capiscono, temono a volte con una parte di ragione, un trattamento privilegiato nei confronti di chi vuole essere cittadino italiano senza pero' assumersene gli oneri.
Chi ha problemi per il colore della pelle e' un discorso diverso che poco mi interessa, anzi nulla.
Una societa' multietnica non si crea dall'oggi al domani, sono 21 anni che frequento Cuba che e' una societa' dove l'integrazione non e' neanche servita perche' tutti sono cubani.

Con questo non voglio dire che non ci sia un leggero razzismo strisciante dei bianchi nei confronti degli altri ma e' davvero poca roba, cazzate.
Se nasci in una societa' dove il tuo vicino e' nero o mulatto, o trigueno o chino e giochi con i loro figli fin da quando smetti di gattonare, se nel prescolare si e' tutti insieme cosi' come alle primarie, secondarie e scuole superiori allora il fatto che qualcuno abbia un colore della pelle diverso dal tuo e' semplicemente un dato di fatto, non certamente un parametro per giudicare una persona o un gruppo di persone.

Se poi crescendo lavori, ti fidanzi, ti sposi, divorzi, ti risposi, fai negocios, fai sport, vai alle riunioni del Cdr e via discorrendo dove c'e' gente di ogni colore allora questo diventa una normalita' e non piu' una eccezione.
Se entri in una scuola a Santiago o Guantanamo e' chiaro che il 70% dei ragazzi non sia bianco, ma questo e' nella normalita' delle cose, ad un certo punto nessuno ci fa piu' caso.
Cuba ha sempre avuto, da dopo il trionfo della Rivoluzione ma credo anche prima, presidenti bianchi, ma oggi dopo Diaz Canel nelle piu' alte cariche dello stato ci sono neri e mulatti e questo non puo' passare inosservato nella popolazione.

Chiaro qua' si parla di dare la cittadinanza italiana a persone spesso nate altrove ma e' un tema che andra' affrontato con la massima serieta' mettendo da parte gli eventuali ultras di entrambe le fazioni per trovare una soluzione in linea col mondo che stiamo vivendo.
Ho ancora fatto in tempo a vedere, a Torino, cartelli con su scritto “questa casa non si affitta ai meridionali”, ricordiamoci sempre che siamo tutti terroni di chi vive a 50 km piu' a nord.
Ho citato Cuba forse in modo un po' improprio ma era per dare l'idea che oramai e' quella la strada che dovremo intraprendere.
L'alternativa e' la fuga su un isola deserta.

The victory of the women's national volleyball team and those of many of our athletes at the Olympics, athletes chromatically not in line with a certain thought, has brought to light the problem of Ius Soli.
Be careful, I don't want to talk about racists and racism even if the topic doesn't land that far from those terminologies, simply the fact that people with a skin color different from ours have the same passport that we have... does not go down well for many.

Historically, Italy is not a multi-ethnic society, we are becoming one due to the rule of flows, but we have never been.
We have never been one because we have not been a serious colonial power, we had for a few years territories in Africa that no one wanted (Libyan oil was not yet vital) but there has never been any serious attempt to integrate those populations with the Italian cultural and social fabric.
France, England, Holland, Spain and Portugal have taken different paths. Blacks in France and England have been French and English citizens for decades, just like Dutch mulattos, Spanish Latinos or Portuguese mestizos.
When I was a kid, it was very rare to find a non-Italian in class, at school, I don't remember ever having had one as classmates.
But then the world changed, the enrichment of one part of the planet at the expense of another has given rise, as I was saying, to the dramatic politics of flows in some ways.
Many Italians don't understand this, they fear, sometimes with some reason, a privileged treatment towards those who want to be Italian citizens without taking on the burdens.
Those who have problems because of the color of their skin is a different matter that interests me little, in fact not at all.
A multi-ethnic society is not created overnight, I have been frequenting Cuba for 21 years and it is a society where integration has not even served because everyone is Cuban.

This is not to say that there isn't a slight creeping racism of whites towards others but it's really little stuff, bullshit.
If you are born into a society where your neighbor is black or mulatto, or trigueno or chino and you play with their children since you stop crawling, if in preschool everyone is together as well as in primary, secondary and high school then the fact that someone has a skin color different from yours is simply a fact, certainly not a parameter to judge a person or a group of people.

If then as you grow up you work, get engaged, get married, divorce, remarry, do business, play sports, go to Cdr meetings and so on where there are people of all colors then this becomes normal and no longer an exception. If you go into a school in Santiago or Guantanamo it is clear that 70% of the kids are not white, but this is normal, at a certain point no one pays attention anymore. Cuba has always had, since after the triumph of the Revolution but I believe even before, white presidents, but today after Diaz Canel in the highest positions of the state there are blacks and mulattos and this cannot go unnoticed by the population.

Of course here we are talking about giving Italian citizenship to people often born elsewhere but it is a topic that must be addressed with the utmost seriousness, putting aside any ultras of both factions to find a solution in line with the world we are living in. I still had time to see, in Turin, signs that said "this house is not rented to southerners", let's always remember that we are all southerners of those who live 50 km further north.
I mentioned Cuba perhaps a little inappropriately but it was to give the idea that now that is the path we will have to take.
The alternative is to escape to a desert island.
