Ho ho! It's me Patsy G. My friends call me Pee Gee, others call me Patoo. I am from Itu Local government Area of Akwa Ibom State and reside in Uyo LGA still on Akwa Ibom State. I'm the first of 4 kids - 2males and 2 females( a lovely combo I would say).

I am a graduate of Secretarial Administration in the then renowned Polytechnic of Calabar now CRUTECH . We were known as Ekpobites.

I was introduced to STEEMIT by a brother so energetic, gingery , robust and dynamic. I love to call him JEMO . His name is Jephthah @bossj23. He introduced STEEMIT as a social media platform where one can share his or her content or knowledge to the public and also learn from others

Singing is Medicine to my soul. But I enjoy reading mostly and writing is food for me. I love outdoor games too. As a woman who is passionate about writing, this platform finds me well and I hope to express my feelings, thoughts and creativity in words. I love writing stories and can write up to 10,000 words a day.

Basically as a social worker, I love making friends so this is another opportunity. I also understand that I could boost my wallet in this adventure I love so much. As a social media where one shares knowledge on vast topics, skills, creativity e.t.c, STEEMIT is that space I can boost my horizon academically and physically as described by my mentor.

I wonder why they named "Ekpobites" you and your mates, I searched for that word and in fact something about your university appeared.

Hi @blessedlife it's nice to hear that you love music like me. The name Ekpobites was coined from the name of the street where the school was located which was Ekpo Abasi (meaning "Ekpo- masquerade and Abasi - God)
Oh, well thank you for answering the question about Ekpobites, I understand now the reason for that name.
