INTRODUCTION

Good day beautiful steemians, I hope we are all doing great. Today I am here to complete my Achievement 3.
I'm @ephraimeka, in my achievement 2, I have written about basic security in steemit. Now, I am going to share my Knowledge about Plagiarism on steemit.

PLAGIARISM

Steemit is a great platform to share people's content. They tried hard make their contents should be real and original. To make quality content. Most of the time we can gain knowledge from their contents like photography, blog etc. We can also take ideas from those posts. If we need to use their ideas or words, we must have to give them credits. If we publish our content without giving them proper respect, It will be considered as Plagiarism.

A creator tried hard from his/her heart and soul to make a qualityful content. Commiting plagiarism can save your time and make your post beautiful, it's very cheap to steal someone's thoughts.Plagiarism can be various types.I have disscussed some of them below. 👇

Various types of Plagiarism

Verbatim Plagiarism

According to Scribbr, if someone directly copy - paste text from a document and didn't give credit to the original author, then its Vertabim Plagiarism. It can be called as Copy-Paste plagiarism.

Mosaic Plagiarism

According to Bowdion, if someone used some words or sentences or phrases from a document and didn't give credit to the original author ,then this is called as Mosaic Plagiarism.

Self-Plagiarism
According to Bowdion, when a person submits his or her own previous work, or mixes parts of previous works, without permission from all professors involved, then it's called as self plagiarism

When someone takes someone's else entirely and doesn't give any credit to the original author but admit as his/her content, then it's called as Global Plagiarism.

The author will feel demotivated when he/she will notice his/her content has been stolen by someone. It's also feel discouraged for the original author. So, We always need to give proper support and credit to the original author. We can give them credits by attaching the Citation of their resources. That's to the proper way to avoid plagiarism. It will help us make us more creative and make our content beautiful.
To avoid plagiarism, I have added the proper source of the pictures I have used.

CONCLUSION

I have read and understood the steemit etiquette rules on plagiarism, and i will do my best to abide by these rules.

Thanks for reading...
Best regards

Hi @ephraimeka

Thank you for making effort to do your Achievement 3 post.

However, you need to learn how to affix 'source' to your pictures. You didn't get it right.

To affix a source, after pasting the picture, use a a square bracket followed by a normal bracket.
Follow this step 👉

Paste picture[source](link where you copied the picture from)

You have written well @ephraimeka. Could you please give a proper source of where you collected the images, to do that please follow the procedure that @samuel20 outlined and also your post contains some plagiarised content, can you please add a quotation to the content that are not yours and don't forget to add "I have read and understood the Steemit Etiquette on Steemit Community and will do my best to embrace them" so you can proceed the next achievement. I look forward to the corrections for approval. Thanks
